We spent a good amount of time going over the pros and cons of the PA what to expect as far as healing time and the rules for sex afterward.Jerimiah has one himself and told me he loved it and that is was well worth the effort.He gave me a great tip I want to pass along.If you get up and pee then shower change your routine to shower then pee.That was if you happen to get soap or shampoo in the ureathera via the piercing hole you can rinse it out quickly with urine and it wont burn too much.Any of you that have gotten soap in there know what I am talking about it burns like a bitch!
By this time I was so nervous and asked the question we all ask "how bad does it hurt"? He told me that it didnt hurt much at all and saw I had my nipples pierced and said compared to those its like a pinch.
Minutes later I was in the lounge chair with my penis surrounded by a sanitary mat of some sort and we were ready to go. My jewelry was a 10guage 1in captive bead ring.And that took some getting used to. I did not want that jewelry but Halo insists on choosing you first jewelry and picks what it best in size and shape for fastest healing. That is bullshit but more on that later.
The next 4 days were no problem. I washed with the Satin soap and used the H2Ocean just like they told me too. On day seven it started to hurt. I was having a hard time with it moving around and hitting my leg of bouncing around. I wore tighter underwear and all they told me to do but nothing helped. I have a larger than average penis and its hard to keep it in one place when walking and such.
What was happening was that the lymph fluid would crust up on the ring near the wound the ring would move and it would tear at the wound. I tried to have sex and the pain was unbearable. This got worse over the next 10 days and I went back to the shop to get it looked at twice. I asked for a different jewelry and would move less and they didnt want to change it.
Frustrated I went to another shop called Mastadon told them the deal and he suggested a curved barbell 8 guage and 7/8 long. Usually this was too soon to stretch but since I was not healed at all in 21 days due to the constant tearing open of the wound the hole was bigger and a bigger size was no problem at all. They put it in pain free and within 3 days I had made better healing progress than in 21 days before. After 2 more weeks I tried to have sex with my GF with the curved barbell not moving too much it was not bad and was fine with a condom on. Without one the ball near the tip of the penis would enter the ureathera and the barbell would slip out of the lower hole and hang completely out with only the ball down inside my ureathera holding it in. This needless to say was painful. For the next few weeks I took care cleaning and was careful having sex and it healed up nicely I didnt even remember it was there most of the time.
Then one Saturday morning I went to pee and realized it wasnt there!!The ball had come off the end and it slipped out and down my leg and was gone.The whole thing was gone! I headed for the shop and they put in a new one with a bigger ball and that was the turning point. It never slipped down my ureathera again due to the bigger ball healed up really fast and I was pain free and having sex again and was 100% in 2 weeks. I now just love it the curved barbell is the best for sex. I wear a 6 guage 7/8 now and it fits perfect when I am erect and just gently slides back and forth during sex and the stimulation from that is awesome. Oral is much better for the women I am with. Not such a big hunk of metal to work around and they like to tease with the underside ball which feels better than i can explain.
If you are considering it and you have a larger size I strongly suggest you stay away from a ring of any sort due to the fact it just moves so much and for me made healing a lengthy process. Halo insisted on the ring and I didnt want it to begin with.I will not get another piercing from anyone that wont let me decide on the shape and size of jewelry. I know they mean well but everyone is not the same.
I trade off between a circular barbell and a curved barbell. The circular looks better but I take it off for sex because its not as comfortable and doesnt stimulate both parties as well.
The hassle and long healing time was a huge problem for me but in the end I am glad I had it done
