this is a resubmit after a rewrite due to errors.

My Prince Albert.

I thought about doing about this about 2 years ago after a lot of reading, still don't know what brought it up but I just continued to think about it. I think it started when my wife said she wanted a tattoo for her 40th birthday, the tattooist let us down at the last minute and it got put off so I put my piercing off too.

18 months later a friend of ours had a PA done and all thoughts came tumbling back.

I did a whole load of research again via the net using BME among others to find out all the does and don't s, after care, problems etc and trying to find everyone else's own experiences when they had theirs done, pain and after effects. Looking back its funny how all the research came back positive and I was well up for it, the pain was always pleasurable and the after effects no problem apart from a few bleeds, now I am not so sure that a non biased view was given, perhaps the painful piercings were removed and forgotten about before they got round to writing about their experience.

I rang around our local studios after getting some local people to give recommendations, I also looked at the net and the phone book and was met with unobtainable numbers, piercers on maternity leave or just plain ill and also several studios who didn't pierce "there". I wanted to get the tattoo and piercing done in one visit and eventually rang The Tattoo studio in Chepstow South Wales who were very helpful and booked us in for the following week.

I did a lot more research on both the piercing and the tattoo, what and where, and waited for the day when we were to travel down to Chepstow, about a 30mile drive. My wife was a bit concerned about me driving back after the piercing and how much pain I would be in but I was sure it would be okay.

When the day arrived I left work early, went home and sorted some cash, sorted the kids and grabbed the Mrs and started the journey. When we got there I was fine and looking forward to it. We arrived early because the wife needed to choose a tattoo so I chatted to the guys in the shop and they put me at ease even more.

It was around this point a lass came in for a high ear piercing and as the needle went in she cried out with the pain. This was the point I started to shake, I was not happy about it anymore. The piercer and the lass did try to explain it all away, she was a drama queen and she made lots of noise to take her mind off it all, I really believed them didn't I? The answer to that was definitely no! I became more nervous by the minute and didn't want to be there.

We went into the studio and Ness sat down, rolled up her trouser leg and Fletch started drawing a rose on Nessies calf in pen so we could see that we were okay with it, this didn't take my mind off the piercing and I was real shaky now. The piercer, Sean, was trying to calm me down and was really good about it all, he didn't mind and I could refuse with no problem. I didn't want to back out but it was a hard decision. Eventually I dropped my trousers and sat on the end of the couch with my old man hiding away like never before, I had a vasectomy a few years ago and that was fine, this was different. The catheter was lubed up and the needle installed ready, he then inserted the end into my urethra, this bit was quite pleasant but I knew what was coming and I got really nervous. When he pushed I jumped so hard the needle came out before it went all the way through, o crap! This left me with a blood blister on the frenulum which I was not excited about. I had to have it done so I prepared myself, the 2nd attempt was just as painful but I was more ready so it was successful and I was sat there with the tube inserted and feeling very feint and shaky. After I had a drink of water he finished of by inserting a 2.5 mm 25mm diameter ring which was relatively painless. I then laid down and relaxed before I fell off the table. Never had such an adrenaline rush or experienced such intense, although very short lived, pain.

After 10 minutes to relax and take a sweet drink I was able to wrap my old man up and put my trousers back on. The pain had gone and my sense of humour was coming back. I was fine from there, walking and driving was not a problem.

The first time I urinated I was worried but it was okay, a bit painful but bearable. I had a bath later that night and soaked him in some salt water which I will now do on a regular basis. I hope this turns out worth it. Sex will have to wait a bit and I will use rubbers for a bit and see how it goes, I originally wanted a curved barbell but he says it will catch more so will wait and see.

Hope this doesn't put you off as I am sure yours will be fine.

Alan
