My story starts about a month ago I decided it was finally time. What time you may ask time to get my penis pierced. I started off doing tons of research on sites like bme. And bodymod.org I decided that a Prince Albert piercing wouldn't be so bad. After doing all of my research online it was time for me to look into what shop I would go into for the piercing, in my conservative little town we have 3 tattoo and piercing shops. One called graphic flesh, another psychopathic ink, and finally Artkore kind. I first called the three shops to find out what kind of pricing I would be looking as well as possibly setting up a time to visit the shop. I first called to Graphic Flesh after, calling Graphic Flesh I found out that the husband and wife team who owns the shop. Husband tattoos and wife pierces, didn't offer any kind of genital piercing. Therefore my next shop to call was Psychopathic Ink I was told that they were able to do the piercing I was told the price and was invited to stop by and visit the shop. Later that day I went to the shop, I don't want to talk bad things about a shop however I will say that I would not be comfortable eating my lunch there let alone letting someone pierce me there. So my last chance was to go to Artkore, seeing as how the shop is about a block from my house I decided just to drop in.
Now I have to say that upon entering the establishment I was shocked and amazed with how clean everything was. The floor was immaculate it is not your average dank dark piercing parlor. I was greeted pleasantly by the artist behind the counter I was asked what I needed, I replied that I needed to ask some quest about a piercing. I was instructed that the artist who did the piercing on duty was not yet there I had arrived just ten minuets after opening. I was instructed to have a seat and the artist would be there shortly. I had a seat at this time my heart is beating like a jack hammer I am nervous and sweating profusely. Finally Jamie walked in she was the piercing person. She asked me what I needed I said that I wanted to see about getting a Prince Albert piercing, she was disappointed to say that she would be unable to do the piercing because she was still learning how to do them, however she took down my name and number and said that she would have the other body piercer Leon would have to do the piercing.
I was then contacted back by Artkore and was asked more questions about the piercing as far as what size and if I intended to stretch it I informed Leon that I would like to be pierced at a 6 gauge initially, I also advised that after the required healing time I would probably go up to a 2 gauge. I also id stated that I would like to ho with a circular barbell for the jewelry. He advised me that he would like to go with a titanium piece because it would be lighter than surgical stainless steel. He stated that he would have to place a jewelry order for the piece he said it would take about 2 weeks for it to come in. After the two weeks I was contacted once again by Leon he set up my appointment and that was that.
So finally after about a month of research and waiting for jewelry to come in it was time for me to get my piercing. I went to the shop was greeted by Jamie who took a copy of my drivers license and had me fill out paperwork for the piercing. While filling out the paperwork Jamie asked me if it would be ok for her to watch during the piercing, I was a little hesitant to have a woman watch during the procedure, honestly I was afraid that there may have been a problem that would arise if you know what I mean. However I realized if it would help her out I would do it.
I was walked back to the piercing room, I was showed all of the instruments that would be used for the piercing everything was unopened and in sterile pouches. Next Leon told me what was going to happen with the piercing, he opened the pouches of needle, jewelry and receiving tube. I was asked to drop my shorts and to lie on the piercing chair, next thing I know he is marking me with ink to make sure the placement is correct. We both agreed on the placement, after that he placed the receiving tube in (this was probably the most uncomfortable part of the piercing, because I decided to go with a 6 gauge piercing the tube was pretty large, it kind of felt like a catheter being put in). After the tube was in place he went through some breathing exercises with me, had me breathe in and out a couple of times and on the third time pushed the needle through. The pain was not bad at all it was sharp for about 5 seconds then it was gone.
It was finally done; a sterile gauze pad was placed on my member. I put my shorts back on, Leon went over the aftercare procedure with, handed me them written out, gave me a bag of sea salt for soaks and shook my hand. And that is that it has only been about 3 days since I got pierced I am healing nicely and cant wait to try out the piercing. All in all it was rather painless I think if you are contemplating getting a Prince Albert go for it.
