Well, I finally did it. I have been thinking about getting a PA since I first heard about it in the 1999 timeframe. I had never had any desire to pierce my ears, or anything else for that matter, but when I heard about the PA, somewhere on the internet, it peaked my interest. So I began to do some research and, as everything else on the internet, you have to shift the wheat from the chaff to get to the truth. As with other things on the internet you try to find both sides of the story and of course what would the internet be without pictures.

So I lurked on the side lines and tried to find ways to imitate a PA; as well as other ways to stimulate my dick. I tried sounding rods, first by polishing a plastic chopstick, and then by making a bigger one out of a 3/8 inch aluminum rod. I also tried some of the various piercing free penis jewelry, including cock and ball rings and most recently a head ring with a cum stopper. That is what made me decide to get the PA. I was wearing it and my wife asked if I had pierced my dick. I told her no, but after the evening's activities, I asked her what she would think if I got my pick pierced.
She said, "It seems a bit radical for someone who won't even consider piercing his ear." So I asked, "What would you think if I did," a bit more seriously.
She replied, "Getting your ear pierced would probably hurt less. But it is your dick, do whatever you want to it."
I took that as permission to go ahead. However, I travel a lot for business and with summer and swim season coming up, I had to pick a time to do it. Once again I thought about putting it off until after the summer. But the more I thought about it, the more that seemed like a cop out. I had been considering it for over 8 years, and since I had just turned 50, said what the hell, no time like the present. I was due to go on a trip and my wife was to be gone at the same time. She was getting back a couple of days after me, so I figured when I returned from my trip it would give me a couple of days of healing before she got home.
I had already been searching for piercers San Antonio, and had seen a couple of recommendations for Dandyland. I called and asked if they did PAs, the answer of which was yes, and if I needed to schedule it, and they said no, just show up. They are on my way home from the airport, so I decided, no time like the present to act. I went from the airport to Dandyland, where Mio met me and said he would be glad to give me a PA, they usually start at a 10. As he got out the jewelry, I asked to see the difference size between a 10, 8, and 6 gauges. I have been figuring to go up either to an 8 or 6, but not much desire to go to the huge sizes. He showed me, and said he could start with an 8, but I said no, 10 would do, I would stretch it up to an 8.
I filled out the release saying I understood the risks, paid his fee, and took one last piercingless piss. Then Mio showed me to the piercing room a asked a few questions as to my desires to get one, etc., just small talk to put me at easy as he set everything up. I told him I hadn't seen on, but had been researching it on the internet for some time. He cleaned up and explained how he would be doing the piercing and about the utensils as he set them up. Then he told me to drop my pants and not to tense up or it might mike it worse.
He marked my dick and told me the receiving tube might hurt, but I hadn't told him about the soundings. So the receiving tube was no big deal. He told me to take a couple of deep breaths and he would be making the piercing on the second breath. As I breathed out, I felt the needle go through, but it was not quite as bad as getting your dick caught in a zipper. Forcing the needle through actually hurt more. There was another quick intense pain as he threaded the jewelry through, but then it was over. He said take a look and as I admired it, he explained that some bleed quite a bit, and some very little. He also said I might want to get some condoms as he put a surgical glove over my dick and used a small rubber band to hold it in place. I had bought condoms for that reason, and said so, to which he said I guess you have been researching.
At that point the only pain was a little sting, but it was and has remained very minor. The dick in the zipper is the only thing somewhat similar, but aside from the initial threading, it is a lot less than that and certainly one hell of a lot less painful than my vasectomy. That was one hell of a painful procedure, and they used anesthetic. It remained intensely painful for 4 or 5 days and was painful for a couple of weeks after that. This is nothing compared to that.
It did not bleed initially, but when I got home there was blood in the glove, and I used condoms the rest of the evening and in bed. I made sure to keep my hands clean, and used a fresh condom after each time I pissed. The bleeding stopped for a bit, but as I cleaned it after my shower, it did start to bleed again. It wasn't too bad as I pissed during the night, but as I got my nightly erection it did bleed a bit. However, this morning it seemed blood free. It bleed a bit when I cleaned it, and I put a condom on, but some time during the morning the condom slid off. I haven't notice any blood during the day and am hoping it has pretty much stopped bleeding.
So far, just like everyone else who I read about on the internet, this is what I expected and I only expect it to get better. It is difficult to describe the feeling, and can only imagine how it will feel when I get the point I can put in a circular barbell with some heavy balls on it.
