A month ago I got my first body piercing. At the time I was so blown away by the whole experience I just had to share my story online (in another forum). Someone there suggested I post the same experience her for a wider audience, so here it is. It's still written from the 1-week ago perspective - I decided not to alter that. Enjoy...

Since I got my first piercing (of any kind) last week I just couldn't wait to tell someone about it. Fortunately I found this cool forum, where lots of other people seem to get excited about the piercing subject )
I've always been interested in body piercing, particularly genitals & nipples. A person with pierced bits indicates to me that he or she's confident, exciting, daring, a little bit kinky but most of all different; that is different enough to improve their body either for decoration or function.
Myself, I'm the most average kind of bloke there is (at least to look at). I don't stand out from the crowd at all, and have a very introvert personality. But what I am (as an engineer) is a tinkerer. I love to modify, improve, build on or transform any object - always have done - that's my real personality. That doesn't stop with physical objects though. I've always liked to experiment with my own body, and my wife's body. That is to explore, mainly physically but also spiritually from time to time.
Last year a friend of ours died as a result of breast Cancer. Three months prior to her death she was perfectly normal, a happy family life and a healthy body. This event made myself and my wife re-consider life, decide to get out of a rut and make life move for us. "Live for the day" a little and enjoy life while you can kinda thing. Not really a mid-life crisis 'cause I don't think I'm there yet.
With the dawn of 2007 I wanted to do something that would shock the friends I told, something that would appear totally spontaneous and out of character for me. Finally I wanted to do something that I had always wanted - to get a body piercing, specifically a PA.
For some time I've been considering the idea - not seriously though, but had read up about the subject. A local piercing studio that appeared to be highly recommended was "Emily's Dangly Bits" in Stourbridge, West Midlands. Last Friday after work, I went to find out where it was, and take a look around.
It was a small shop in Victoria Passage, well advertised from the main road and well lit. Entering the shop there were a couple of girls - mid-late 20s at the checkout and a massive range of jewelry on display. A late 30s woman appeared and I started nervously chatting, explaining that I was interested in getting a PA at some time and asking about the cost, procedure, how long it took, jewelry, cleanliness, sterilisation etc. I originally intended only to have this chat and then leave to research more on the web, but after a few minutes decided to throw caution to the wind, stump up the 75 GBP and go for it.
After completing the paperwork and choosing titanium for the ring I got lead through to the room. Incredibly clean, white and comfortable with a few tasteful pictures of previous work (no genitals) on the wall. The 30s woman (presumably Emily) did the business. She was incredibly well composed and had a wonderfully relaxing "bedside" manner. I got undressed and laid on the table, she cleaned the relevant area, and marked the exit spot. This was slightly to the left side of middle of my urethra (which surprised me a little but explained it was to avoid a blood vessel - later I read that there are nerves in there as well). After checking the location she froze it with some kind of spray, then had me hold an ice pack on there for about a minute. She showed me the needle (which didn't look too alarming, in its sterile packet). I double checked that the needle and the jewelry were both sterilised in an autoclave.
All the while she was talking about how long she'd been in the job (15 yrs), asked me about my job, what make me decide to go ahead, family etc. keeping my mind off the piercing as she did the incision (if that's an appropriate term). Felt no worse (probably less painful) than an injection in your arm, but that was likely due to the torrent of adrenaline in my body.
With the needle through there, I took a look and gave her the ok. Then I lay back again and she switched the needle for the jewelry - possibly slightly more painful than the piercing itself.
She attached the ball and had me hold a wad of tissues on there for a few minutes to allow the bleeding to subside and to make sure I wasn't at all faint. The jewelry itself was a 2mm ball closure ring - 20mm diameter and looked awesome when I saw it for the first time. I was absolutely ecstatic.
All the time she was asking me if I felt ok, and checking her work was ok for me. It was perfect. It did bleed quite a lot at first but subsided after a few minutes. I packed my underwear with tissues, got dressed and left the "piercing" room. Back in the shop I signed the paperwork to say I was happy and the right precautions had been taken. They told me they had a lot of jewelry suitable for this kind of piercing, but decided to take a look another time.
Regarding aftercare, the piercer, Emily told me that all I needed to do was bathe it in a cup of boiled water with a tablespoon of salt daily. Also told me that I should be good for sex after 3-4 days but to do so when I felt ready. I was also told that I get free monthly aftercare "inspections", and given a leaflet re-iterating that information.
A careful walk back to the car park set me on my way home. I was so pumped with adrenaline, and so impressed that I had actually done it. I was really on such an incredible high for the rest of the day. Totally on top of the world !
Back home I couldn't wait to tell my wife. She knew I had been contemplating this but didn't know I would actually do it, or that the day to do it would be today. She was shocked when I showed her, pleased but shocked. It took a while to sink in that I'd actually got it done.
Later that day there was more bleeding and on day 2 also. On day 3 it subsided. Generally very little pain, but over the course of the past week I've been more aware of how my cock "lies" in my underwear, something I'd not thought about before.
The first couple of nights, sleep was difficult, not uncomfortable but difficult. Difficult because of the slight weight pulling on my cock and making me horny as fuck. Anyhow I was too frightened to play so just put up with the frustration.
As I said, bleeding finished completely by day 3, and by day 5 almost no pain. Day 6 and I had my first ejaculation (by masturbation) and that was out of this world. I've always liked women sticking their tongue down my pee-hole during blow-jobs, and having a ring in there is like constant stimulation - fucking WOW.
Being circumcised the piercing exit is probably a little lower than average, so when I'm erect this makes the 20mm ring pull slightly, which I can feel. That's ok though.
It's now one week after the event and the excitement is still there. Hopefully will be going for regular sex tonight, although I think my wife has gone off my piercing a little. When it does go ahead I'll use loads of lube as I expect lots of chaffing/tugging on the ring could be painful.
Eventually intend to stretch the hole to 5mm or so, and would love to try a princes wand. Also, wifey is a bit dom from time to time so I can imagine things hanging from there. All that fun seems a long way off right now tho.
My advice to anyone who is thinking of this - go for it - it's awesome, but get full approval of your loved one first - at the end of the day it's he or she equally who benefits from your cock.
Well that's it - hope I haven't bored you too much with this epic story, but just had to share this time-of-my-life experience with you.
Cheers,
Pee

On advice waited 3 weeks before penetrative sex, but wow - it was absolutely awesome! Wifey is also getting used to my steel now which is super-cool. If anyone is thinking of doing this - don't be like me, spending years thinking about it, don't waste time - just go for it !
