You'd wonder why I, being a married man of 41 having 2 kids with a normal office job and a wife who is definitely not into piercing, would like to get his penis pierced. What was I thinking? A pierced penis is not something you would show off or even talk about in a light conversation, at my age.

I would stick needles in my self, just to see if it would hurt. Later on, when I was drafted for the army at 21 I got my ear pierced. This was nothing for me at all so I took it out again. Somewhat years went by until I stumbled on an article in a magazine which set of my interest for piercing. All though, at that time, I still did not dare dream about actually taking a piercing for my self. Again several years went by, I got married and we have two lovely children now, but the "itch" remained.
After discovering BME back in 1999 the "itch" came back. I decided that I had earned a navel piercing, just to start it off and satisfy the "itch". So one day I called my wife and said that I would be coming somewhat later. I'd thought I would surprise her with it! How wrong I was, she did not like it one bit and I'm stuck with it for the duration of the healing process. Seven months later, out it went (again).
Fast forward: to eight months ago. Suddenly something did chance, we started talking about getting my penis pierced. It all started as a joke, but later on I said that I meant that I wanted to get my penis pierced, preferably an Apadravya or a PA. After seeing the pictures and reading the stories on BME I was sold. My wife and I talked about it and we decided to go for a PA, because of the shorter healing time involved due to an upcoming short holiday.
After doing extensive research in finding someone to put a hole in my penis, I found someone who I would entrust to do so. A few days later I found myself walking towards the piercing shop, where it all would take place, satisfying my curiosity about it all, kind of like foreplay.
Then the big day came. After eating a hamburger (I read that you should eat something in advance), I went to the shop. Walking to the shop I tried to build enough confidence to actually go through with the procedure, getting your penis pierced is not an every day kind of thing, in my book anyway. I entered the shop, which was somewhat small but clean, where I found Sharon who would do the procedure. I told Sharon that I wanted to get a PA done upon which she said "no problem" and asked me to wait until the previous customer had gone. Fifteen minutes later she locked the door and closed the curtain before the "table/chair" where the actual piercing would take place. You do not want to get caught with your pants down in front of the window.
I decided to go for an 8ga CBR, which is fairly big size to begin with. After pulling my pants down I lied down on the table and out came the gloves and the cleaning stuff, which feels a little bit cold. In the mean time my penis had shrunk to a size of a large shrimp. I felt somewhat embarrassed about this because Sharon really looks nice. Later on I heard that this was quite normal.
Next she inserted a tube in my uterus, which was not too bad, and then out came the needle, which was bigger then I expected. After some heavy breathing, in and out Sharon pushed the needle trough. It hurt for about half a second and then it was over, at least I thought so. She inserted the jewelry, but then I felt a warm sensation, which actually was my blood gushing out. Two minutes later it was Ok and I was a neat piercing richer. She put some bandage over the fresh wound. After receiving aftercare instructions from Sharon I put my pants on, paid and tipped Sharon (so was oh so nice) and left.
Aftercare was Ok with daily sea salt soaks, although it bled a lot more then I expected. After five days everything was fine. Two weeks later we had sex and it was a great feeling with my new toy, although it did not do anything for my wife I felt great, perhaps somewhat sore though. Piercing can be quite addictive, I am already thinking about the next stop called: "Apadravya". Hope that this piercing, which looks great by the way, will do more for my wife as well as the PA does for me.
Even though my wife was reluctant to give in at first, you should know this: If you really want it, get it. It will boost your sex life and it looks great. After a while you wont even notice its there, it will become a part of you. If you are not convinced yet, just read lots of stories on BME, they will help you to set the next step as they did for me.
