I started my piercing experiences several years ago and have gradually gotten my seventh one. Currently, I have my left ear cartilage, both ears, my tongue, both nipple and my penis pierced. I am running out of things I could get pierced.

About a month ago I started doing some research on the Prince Albert piercing as it has been something I have thought about getting off and on now for a year. I started looking on the web via search engines. I was able to find a lot of information by just typing Prince Albert on Google. It was very easy to find information on PA's.
After about four hours of intense web surfing, I came to the conclusion a PA was right for me. www.BMEZINE.com was a very helpful place to start looking. Through other people's experiences that they had posted, I was able to find a place in Chicago that pierced PA's. I finally got the guts to call them and ask if an appointment was necessary. I was told that when I was ready to get it, I could just show up. I was amazed to find all of the people throughout the world that entered information on BME. Everyone seemed to have had a positive experience in getting PA's. I was able to find just one person's comments on why they took their PA out, JUST one... Imagine that. In taking in all of other people's experiences I determined it's something one must do for himself, as I realize not everyone's partner, lover etc. would necessarily like it.
As you can see that did not take me too long to get over, as I am writing this a month after I did that research. Getting a PA does set you apart in ways from the "norm" but then again when has that every stopped me... I am a nurse, and due to my profession I can not have every piercing I would like to have. But that never stopped me from getting my tongue or ears pierced. I have always been someone who does or gets something because I like it, not because of what someone else would or could possibly think.
So last Sunday, August 21, 2005, I ended going out with friends to a local bar Big Chicks, then ended heading to Roscoe's. While I was there I got the PA idea in my head and could not stop thinking about it. I ended up turning to my friends, one of who knew I was thinking about it for the past month, and told them I was going to go get a PA. So I got up, left Roscoe's and took a cab to the "Tattoo Factory" located at 4441 N. Broadway. I know they were a reputable place, as that is where I got my tongue pierced at 2 years prior.
When I arrived there, I approached the counter and asked if they did the PA piercing there. I was referred to Hank. He said yes and asked for ID, and payment. It cost $70.00. I filled out the consent form and was taken behind the counter. I sat in a chair and a privacy divider was put behind me and the counter. He explained what he was going to be doing step by step.
A horse shoe piercing was what was chosen; he cleaned the peri area with betadine inserted the sheath and before I knew it I was pierced. It just hurt for a second. I was wrapped in the customary paper towel and a glove, pulled my pants up and was on my way home.
It has now been a week since I got it pierced and could not be happier. It bled minimally over the course of 24 hours and that was it. When I woke up the next morning I had a new partner and I must say felt awesome. I was not really sure how it was going to be going to the bathroom, but I did not nor have I since had any difficulties. I have even been able to stand up, using a urinal. But I do recommend that if you do so to make sure you have some toilet paper to day yourself off afterwards as the ring is wet and shaking it while it feels good is not always a practical choice.
I choose to put a pair of boxers on, after I was done showering and headed to work. I had a big smile at work all day long. People kept commenting on my smile. I just nodded and smiled some more.
Everyday since, esp. when I walk, it feels like I have someone playing with my "member" continuously. I can not tell you how many times in a day I get excited, just from simple things, like walking... It was the best thing I have had pierced, not a single regret.
If you have been considering getting a PA, I would recommend you stop thinking about it and just do it.
