I have a big problem when it comes to talk about sex, and it's even bigger when I think about getting naked. When I started to look at the genital piercings my first thought was "How could I show my genitals to a piercer?" And I haven't found the answer yet. So when I set my mind on a PA, I knew it was another DIY piercing to do.
First I tried the only technique I knew which is using the receiving tube in the urethra to catch the needle while it's piercing. I first put some Emla cream to numb the area since I was quite worried about the pain. After a few minutes I slid the receiving tube where I thought the needle would come out. Problem number one, the foreskin kept sliding up, covering my entry point. I tried to manage it as much as I could but I was not able to start the piercing at all. After an hour of struggling I gave up. I had a hard time to pee for a few next days - the receiving tube has stretched the urethra causing some pain.
Two weeks forward - reading an experience about a DIY PA in which the author was talking about starting the piercing in the urethra and moving out. The idea seemed to be easier than my own approach. For a test I took a cotton swab, broke a bud and tried to position it like I would do for a needle. The handling was simple and completely free hand.
I sterilized my jewelry, cleaned my work area and gave it a try. It was about 2 AM, and I was just in an odd mood. My sugar level was low but I ignored it and gave it a go. I started by putting some Emla cream and letting it react for a good five minutes. Then I cleaned my hands and got everything ready. I washed my hands again and put some gloves on. The first push trough the numb flesh was an easy one. The second push got trough some sensitive flesh. The sharp pinch was felt in the whole head. My penis shrank to hide away. I started to fill sick, so I removed the needle and ran to the sink. I was about to puke. After getting myself straight I jumped in the shower. When I felt better I decided to give it another try. I picked a new needle and lined it up again. I was slowly making my way trough. About half way in I saw that I'm crooked and the exit hole is on the side of the web. It was it; I removed the needle, and started to clean my work area. I felt something strange sliding on my tights. I looked and saw that I was bleeding. So I taped gauze on the head and started disinfecting the floor. The bleeding stopped within five minutes and afterwards I had no pain from peeing.
A week later I gave it another try. This time I drank like 6 pop before just to ensure a high sugar level. And I also put one with a straw next to my work station, just in case. Some Emla, prep everything. Got my horseshoe ready, but suddenly I had the feeling that it would be too short, so I took out a one inch barbell, too. Set my CD player on, take a sip and start piercing. I had an index on each side of the web to ensure the placement of the exit hole and the thumb pushing the needle. I made my way trough the numbed flesh, and then I started feeling the sharp pain. Even though suddenly I had an urge to pee I tried to keep the pressure on and to stay straight. The cool air from the ventilation was making a contrast with the hot flashes I was getting. For some reasons I started to feel horny, but my penis was quite upset to be pierced. It shrank under an inch (which I have never seen before!). The foreskin was trying to get back up but my index on each side of the web was keeping it down. I kept pushing for over 25 minutes, 2mm each time.
Suddenly it punctured the skin. The feeling was the same as dead stretch. But I was so glad to see that tiny sharp bit coming out exactly where I wanted it. Now, to get it out, I pushed slowly because the pain was very bad. The Emla cream was not working anymore, but I had to get that fucker out. I tried to keep a constant pressure on the needle, and moved my eyes away from it. But something was making me look at that fascinating sight of the needle coming out of my penis! Yet the needle was not coming out of there! Five minutes of worthless pushing later I pulled the skin back on the needle. Finally, after a good half hour, the needle was in and corked.
At this point my fear that the CBB was too short was confirmed. It was obviously too short and I didn't even start to swell yet. So I headed for the 25mm barbell. I slid it in the hollow 12gauge needle, and started pushing the needle out. Out of the blue the ceiling started to go down and the floor up. I wasn't waiting for that one. I tried to push the needle out as hard as I could, but it was worthless. So I leaned back and watched the light show. It took good 10 minutes to get back on track. I pushed the needle as far as I could to start pulling out from the other side. The feeling was odd, almost as if I didn't have anything in the piercing. I finally got the needle out and screwed the ball on. I was waiting for a lot of bleeding because I pierced with a bigger gauge than the jewelry. But there were barely two drops.
After picking up my stuff and disinfecting the area I got a pee. Remember the urge I had an hour ago? Well, I still had it. But I feared to do that because I remembered the pinch I had when I tried with the receiving tube. So I sit to avoid the shower effect... Nothing. I really needed to do that, but it did not come out! I remembered a tip I read on IAM: to dip the tip of the penis in water and it would help. It worked and the pain was not that bad at all. There was only a small pinch when I started and a total absence of the shower effect.
I'm quite happy with the piercing, especially that I got it without being naked in front of anyone. Now I've stretched it to 12g, and have put a 16mm CBB which is a lot more comfortable and big enough to accommodate the swelling. I also plan on stretching it up to gauge six.
