My name is Eric and I live in San Antonio. I have always been a perfectionist and have to know every single detail about something before doing it. Out of My 10 piercing's two have been done professionally. The reason I decided to do my own Prince Albert is because the only two other times I had been pierced by professionals it was not to my likening, My tongue piercing was very crooked and my nipples were done off centered. So I decided I could not trust my Wanker to another person and possibly end up living the rest of my life not being able to function properly down south.

I first researched every possible thing needed to do a Prince Albert. I wanted to know exactly what the professionals would need to know. I ended up learning about the major veins and vessels and how to avoid them. When doing a Prince Albert I would say the worst thing that could happen is for a vein to be punctured. I then looked at many pictures to see the best placement for the piercing. After price hunting a while I found a good kit.

Well the day had come. I took out my kit and found a nice comfortable place to sit in my room.

Right as I built up the nerve for go through with it I noticed that I had forgot to purchase a receiving tube. After searching the house I decided to use and empty ink refill from a pen. It was just big enough to insert the 14 gauge needle into. I lubed up the tube and tried to insert it. Until that moment I has never had any thing touch my urethra except for my own urine and boy did it hurt. After about 5 minutes I decided to give up but then thought to myself that if I relaxed a bit I could get the tube in. Sure enough once I relaxed I was able to tap the receiving tube a little at a time until it was in the right spot. I then reached for the needle and lined it up. At this moment my shaking was so much that I let go of the receiving tube and it slid back. The need was in to much to turn back but I was scared of missing the tube and piercing through my member. I gathered myself and when I felt they where lined up gave the needle another push and it was in. I think the hardest part was closing the captive ring and putting the bead in it. I do not have the tool for this so I had to do it by hand and every time I would squeeze it blood would gush and make it slippery. After about 5 minutes I had the ball in and that was it. It was done. It stung the first time I urinated but after that is was fine. If also did not bleed after the first five minutes. I was surprised that the needle did not cause any pain at all. The only pain felt was caused by the receiving tube but the more you relax the less you feel it.

The only problem was by being such a perfectionist as I am it seemed crooked to me. I was so nervous about hitting what looked as to be a vein in the center of my penis that I went a little to the right but the ring was sitting slightly slanted which drove me crazy. So I removed it and decided to wait two days until trying again.

After two days the hole was completely closed and you could hardly tell that it was ever pierced. Once again I set everything up but this time instead of using the pen refill as a receiving tube which was too small and almost caused me to pierce everything else I used a gel ink refill which was about 6 gauges thick. After lubing it I inserted it into my urethra. After doing research about how a penis is circumcised and why and uncircumcised male has to have his piercing slightly to one side I learned that what I thought was a vein was really a thin long scar from when I was circumcised as a baby. I then tried to insert the needle which was very hard to do this time since I was going through part of the fresh scar tissue from before. I should have waited a week longer but being bi-polar and in a manic episode I could not wait. Once the needle was through I started to bleed very much it lasted for about 30 minutes and off and on for about a day.

It has been two weeks since I did my Prince Albert and it is perfect. I love it and recommend it to everyone. I would suggest getting it done professionally. The only reason I felt comfortable enough to do it is because I have experience doing many different piercings and even this one is very different from the others but is the least painful. I also am taking care of it but doing a sea salt soak in the mourning and evening. I also use a mixture of 10 drops of lavender oil in 5 ml's of grape seed oil. It really helps the ring keep from sticking to the skin which can hamper healing by causing the skin to be torn but with lavender oil you will not have to worry about this. The lavender oil also helps get rid of the scar tissue. Well, if you want a PA go for it. Just remember to relax the way you do when you pee and the receiving tube will not burn in you urethra.
