I've always been a fairly open minded person, a year ago though I would of never thought that I would be sitting here with a P.A. in my pants. My first piercing was a big eye opener for me; it reviled a whole new world. About a month or so after my 1st piercing I was already starting to look at genital piercing. There were two on my mind at the time; pubic piercing, and an Apadravya. As time pasted and I got more and more mods I knew that sooner or later it would be a good time to get a genital piercing.

I had pretty much decided that I would like an Apadravya but I wanted to kick off with a P.A. to experience that first and then later if I wanted I could upgrade to an Apadravya.
The time came when I had got all my other mods out the way (or put on hold), and I set a date to go to MetaFlesh with my piercing buddy Sadie. The night before I got hardly any sleep at all. It felt like when I was younger and it was going to my birthday the next day. I woke up so early as well, I had breakfast but I really didn't feel like eating I was all mixed up with excitement and nervousness.
I got into town early even though I walked. So I had even more time for my nerves to build up. After a while Sadie turned up and we were on our way. As we entered MetaFlesh I was surprised to see there were a fair few people in for a Monday in the early afternoon. I asked Warren at the desk for a P.A. it was quite obvious he was pleased with my request. He passed me a form to fill out and I took a seat.
My nerves kind of settled while I was in the waiting room. I noticed there wasn't any music on and Warren must have too because he asked me what music I like. I asked for some tool and a few seconds later I was listening to Tool- Third Eye. I found it was a great song to help calm me even more. So by the time Warren asked me downstairs I was fairly relaxed and ready for my piercing.
Downstairs Warren put some more music on (more tool!), got his equipment out and gloves on as I laid myself down and pulled my trousers down to about my knees. He asked me if I wanted anaesthetic, I initially had decided I wanted to have it without but at that moment I felt a bit unsure, so I took a while to decide that I would go through the piercing with anaesthetic. It took a while for the anaesthetic to set in; it took a fair bit of spray on the head of the penis and inside the urethra, which was applied using a cotton bud (Q-tip).
After a few minuets of talking and waiting for the anaesthetic to fully set in we where really to make the incision. Warren opened a sterile needle. I closed my eyes, slowed my breathing and concentrated on the music. I felt the needle slowly push in from the top of my urethra moving downwards in the direction of my frenum. As it moved I could feel it but it wasn't hurting me in fact it was quite neutral sensation. There was a more sharp popping sensation and sound as the needle exited just next to my frenum but nothing unbearable.
I took a big sigh of release and smiled looking down at the canula inside my genitalia. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. At this point Sadie was a little bit shocked/concerned actually she was most probably more nervous about the whole thing than I was! We talked a bit more and Warren got out a BCR to replace the canula. I had to really focus to stay still whilst he put the jewellery on. After that we where done, Warren cleaned up the blood (not that there was much) and wrapped my fresh piercing up. I pulled my trousers up and thanked Warren.
We made our way upstairs and at this point I can't really remember exactly what happened, I must have been so happy and high off the adrenaline. I paid and got an aftercare leaflet, thanked Warren again and left. Sadie and I made our way into town, I was really hungry so we went into a café and saw a few friends, I told them all the good news. Some of them seemed cool with it but others where like "eww thats sick!" I wasn't bothered by there reactions. Later on I really needed the toilet so I went back to one of the friends houses and unwrapped myself in the bathroom. It did sting but not nearly much as I expected I think this was due to drinking quite a lot of water earlier meant there wasn't much toxins in my urine.
24 hours after the piercing the bleeding had completely stopped also the stinging had when I went to the toilet. The area was still a bit tender so I had to still be careful when walking about. So far the after care has been uneventful, I clean it twice a day with salt water plus one salt soak a day.
I'm really pleased with my piercing and I haven't even been able to "test" it yet. It's been such a good experience and I can't wait until it's fully healed. Anyone thinking about going for such a piercing really should go for it but be prepared for some slight lifestyle changes.
