The story actually began about two years ago...

Really it wasn't much research at all, I knew a little bit of what a pa was and didn't consider anything else. Living in a college town, basically all piercing places are safe or they wouldn't survive. The first time I went with my own choice of CBR, that was a mistake. I followed the aftercare regimen with sea salts and such, but it continued to bleed for well over a week. Frankly, that part put me off of the idea as I couldn't masturbate or anything without bleeding. Going to the bathroom was not much of a problem though as I just turned it upside down. So, one day I have the ring out for a bit since it was hurting so much and tried a few hours later to put it back in. Low and behold, it doesn't fit in anymore. Oh well. I just decided to let it heal over and see what comes up later. A few months went by after it healed and just for the heck of it I stuck a sewing needle through. You probably wouldn't believe it but that didn't hurt as much as it was a week after the real piercing.
Fast forward about two years...
I arrive at the decision that I really do want the piercing, and as I've gotten a prescription for something that stops me from getting hard and horny all the time, I figure I now have a much better chance at healing. (The pills are spironolactone & estradiol, what t g's take when going through hormone therapy. I've basically determined on my own that I'm not t g, just severely depressed with other things in my life, of which I've learned how to turn around. Thanks in a small part to the therapists but mostly to O. K. and C. H. Yippee!)
And so I call a place called Dogstar. Seemed as good a place as any as I'm fond of astrology and can pick out canis major & minor fairly easily. A guy called Chris answers my call and sure enough they do pa's. (oh yeah, another reason I called them was that I saw a review about mike erwin at dogstar, but he doesn't do piercings anymore) The girl that does pa's is T and she wouldn't be in that day until 5 Chris tells me. I arrive at 5 and end up waiting there a bit since nothing was ready. While waiting I scanned her portfolio and all looked excellent. As I had been through all this before I had no worries or concerns at all. Went with T's choice of captive bead ring, another 10 gauge but only either 5/8 ths or 3/4", I'm not sure which since I didn't ask, didn't measure, and don't care. The initial pierce hurt a bit more than the first and my feet kicked straight out from the chair. Afterwards all was find though and I bled for 3 days (just as a test for no taking any of the spiro), On the 4th day i started with one hundred fifty milligrams of spiro and bled just a little bit more (probably mostly due to the masturbation). I kept up the spiro for 2 more days and there was no more blood after the 4th day.

I did not even do the sea salts this time like I did before since I could not find any in the store. CBR's are self cleaning anyway and since I drink plenty of water it had plenty of opportunities to clean out. I've only taken the ring out once to thoroughly clean it and the ball is so tight that it kind of hurts to snap back in so I do not even plan on taking it out again for atleast a few more days. With it being so tight anyway I have now worries about ever losing the ball.
The pierce was on the 19th, a week after, I considered myself mostly healed, and now it's the 1st of the month and it rarely ever hurts. I've tried free balling once again but it is not working out. So far it does still hurt every day when I masturbate but it's diminishing each time.
Needless to say, I'm quite pleased that I gave it another try.
Next stop: Guiche. I'm already getting adjusted to the feeling of additional padding down there with the 11" size poise pads. Felt like a pillow at first, now I hardly notice it. Plus I'll try to remember to wear my black jeans when I go back to T.
My goal is to be able to lock the Guiche and PA together.
