You are going to pierce what?!

Like many others I've spent hours looking through the pictures and reading peoples experiences. Right when I first saw one on BME I knew that I too would have one someday.
So about three weeks ago I ordered a ten gauge CBR, a ten gauge needle, a six gauge receiving tube, a Guess Where shirt, and some books. About two weeks later I opened up my mailbox and my heart jumped. There was a package in it. But sadly it was something for my mom. And the next day was a holiday, I think it was Veteran's Day, so I had to wait longer. But two days after I got my hopes all up for nothing I received my stuff. I was ecstatic.
I had told a few friends what I had planned on doing that night. I think maybe one of them liked the idea. Most people thought I was kidding. Oh well, I mean what does it matter if they want me to do it or not? It doesn't matter, it is my body.
So at about 8:30 PM that night, I was sitting here at my computer, and I couldn't for the life of me get the little ball off of my CBR. Eventually I got a pliers and a rag (to prevent from scratching) and it opened. My little homemade ring opener. I knew I should have boughten one, but I didn't want to spend the extra money as I already ordered a lot of stuff and it wasn't cheap. Or maybe I'm just too cheap.
Into my room I went. I made sure to lock the door, I mean how awkward would that be to have my mom or little brother walk in? I don't even want to think about it. I dropped my pants and boxers and took a seat on my futon. I had all my supplies in front of me and I kind of just looked at it all for a couple minutes. The first thing I noticed was the needle looked HUGE! I was almost crying just looking at it. The second thing I noticed was the receiving tube wasn't any smaller.
The receiving tube entering my urethra didn't exactly hurt, but it didn't feel good either. If the pointy part of the receiving tube hit me in the wrong spot it hurt though so I had to make sure I was gentle. After I got it in as far as I needed to I let it sit there for about a minute so I could get comfortable with a stainless steel straw in my penis.
The actual piercing took about 20 minutes. I know, I know, took way too long. But I just couldn't find the strength to push this ten gauge needle through my penis in one big push. So I had to take little baby steps. And I wont lie to you either, it hurt like a bitch! None of my other piercings have hurt this much (lobes, conch, lip, labret, tongue). But then again all my other piercings were done at fourteen gauge and ten gauge is a little bigger so it should hurt more I guess. I'm glad I did it at ten gauge, it'll save me some money once I start to stretch it, and it looks really cool with my ten gauge CBR. If I had to go back and do it over again though I would still do it in a heartbeet. Don't ever let pain stop you. I mean life has challenges you know. God forbid you have to work hard for something that you really want and means that much to you.
The next day at school I wore my Guess Where shirt. It was great. My friend Lauren came up to me and she was like, "No, you wouldn't do that would you? Oh my God you did!" it was hilarious. You have to love Lauren
As of this writing I've had my PA for exactly one week, and I couldn't be happier with it. I haven't really been good at cleaning it, I'm trying out the LITHA (leave it the hell alone) method and it seems to be working great. It's healing better than my fourteen gauge labret I got about a week prior, I think that might be just because it was done at fourteen gauge though, that's too thin for my liking I think it ripped a little. But anyway...
I've heard from a lot of people that their PA bled a lot the first couple days. So I was pretty happy when mine didn't bleed at all. Who wants to deal with a bleeding penis. That's no fun at all. Well it wouldn't be for me anyway.
Now I know what your thinking, how does it affect masturbation and sex. Well I can't tell you how great sex is now, because well I'm a virgin. I wish I could tell you that it is so much better now, but I can't. I can however tell you that six days after piercing my PA I masturbated and it was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Ok not really, but its high up there on the list. I can't even put into words how great it was. I'd recommend waiting a little longer than that though. Afterwards there was a little drop of blood and I was a little sore but nothing that big.
Pissing is kind of a problem though. It has the tendency to drip out of the bottom hole. A couple times I've had to sit down to pee. But now I think I've perfected the art of peeing with a PA. Just give it some time and you will too. It's only been a week and it has already started to stretch. I wish my ear lobes were like that. If I could get my hands on a nine gauge CBR it would fit in without a problem.
I've gotten a lot of mixed reactions when people find out I have a PA. It's not like I go around telling everybody, but after you tell one person you know everybody and there mother finds out. Most people are appalled at the idea though. One girl even asked me if my mother knew? Maybe it's just me but I'm not the type of person to pierce my penis and then go "Hey mom, look what I did!"
I chose to pierce my PA myself for a couple of reasons. 1) Even if here in Minnesota you could get genital piercings at age 16, I somehow don't think I could get parental consent on that one. 2) I don't entirely trust my piercer enough to be handling my goods, as he has only pierced my labret so far (the rest were self done). 3) I feel a lot more comfortable doing this one myself.
I recommend that anyone considering a PA should get one. Although it would be a lot better if you would get it done professionally. Self piercing can be pretty bad if you screw up. Luckily I didn't.
