That week I started doing research on which one I felt was best for me, this web site was the most informative tool on the web for me while doing my research. Once we get there I'm a bit anxious but not nervous, as I really don't have a fear of needles of any kind for the most part. I also felt comfortable with my studio selection as I did my research and was not making a blind choice. My wife is a dentist so I've received up to 13 oral injections in one day, since I metabolize anesthetic at a very rapid rate, so needles were definitely not a problem. The piercer working that night was named Kenneth (Kenny). He was a rather quiet individual, but he inspired confidence, he acted like the procedure was another walk in the park. He told me to take off my pants and lie down on the table. He prepared his equipment and made his puncture mark after disinfecting the area.
The initial piercing was not that bad, it's over so quickly I don't think the pain has time to set in. I could feel the jewelry being slid into position (10 gauge 3/4" circular barbell), but that was not painful, only noticeable. I felt a little "green" afterwards, but I believe that was from the psychological thought of knowing a needle just went through my penis. I was able to drive home that evening with little issues. My natural reaction was to just get home and remain as immobile as I can, I guess it was a natural reaction as to not disturb the piercing more than needed. I had bleeding for the next two days. I took it rather easy over the next few weeks. I had protected sex about 2.5 weeks later, it was still uncomfortable but not bad. I would recommend that someone just wait until fully healed before engaging in sex. I was diligent about cleaning it with Satin cleaner twice a day and doing my salt soaks as required. I fully healed in about 6 weeks, at least it felt fully healed.
By the second month I was reaping the benefits of my circular barbell PA piercing. It definitely made everything more enjoyable. Naturally when you have something swiveling on/in the head of your penis you would expect that result. I can bring myself to orgasm by simply swiveling the piercing by shaking my penis side to side, not bad at all. My wife notices it's there but we don't think it brings her much "direct" stimulation, besides I think the goal here is self gratification. I went back a few months later and went up in size to an 8 gauge circular barbell.
I'm VERY happy with this piercing and I think I will leave it as is, any bigger and it may "catch" too much when entering my wife's vagina. I prefer the eight gauge as opposed to my original 10 gauge size, bot h in looks and in function. Visually it's very pleasing (silver) to myself and my wife. I know that the concept of a hole through the head of one's penis doesn't sound very appealing, but I'd definitely recommend this piercing to anyone. If you're in the LA area then you can definitely trust 13 BC.
