The idea of getting a Prince Albert, or PA, started about a year and a half ago for me. At that time I was a fairly plain person, having only my lobes, and my eyebrow done at the time. I started to get more and more piercings as the year went along, and finally something happened that would cause me to want a PA more than ever before.
At A Glance Author Omni Contact Omni@bme.anon IAM Omni Potent When A month ago Studio Asylum Location Ames, Iowa I was working in North Carolina, at this time I had most of my current piercings, and one of my co-workers was asking my about my piercings. He was born and raised in the same city that I currently lived in, so we got along quite well. Anyway he was asking about them, how much the hurt, etc. When along came the question, so do you have a PA. I simply said no but had thought about getting one. He said that if I ever did I would have to get in touch with him, and tell him how much my girlfriend enjoyed it.
After he had asked that question I started to think more and more about the piercing. I started to look at pictures of it, and reading about how it was done. I think it's a good idea to know how it is done, so you know what to expect. After talking it over with my girlfriend, and talking to friends about it, I decided that I would some day do it. When that day was I had no clue.
About a month ago I was told that our local LAN was holding an event, and had planned on attending. I found out that it was also the weekend of the state fair, and my girlfriend and I have a tradition of attending the state fair together, or apart. I decided to skip out on the LAN, and head south to the state fair. I knew that the path would take us right by my favorite studio, and that it would be a good time to get it done.
We went to the state fair and had our fun there, then took off back north. I had informed my girlfriend that we would be stopping in Ames to get my PA, if the shop was still open. We were a bit worried that they would be closed because school is out, and it's in the middle of collage town. To my surprise when we arrived it was still open and there were some customers walking around inside.
We parked the car and walked to the shop, stepped inside and as expected the guy at the counter immediately asked if he could help us. I simply said that I was there to get a Prince Albert. He looked at me for a sec and then said something along the lines of, rad or awesome. After filling out the paperwork and flashing my id I was ready to go. The artist was finishing up a touch up in the other room so I sat down and looked thru the flash, and albums of work they had done.
Soon the artist came out, the same on who had done my nipples, and asked if I was ready. I was and headed to the back room where they had already pulled the blinds, and closed the door. I glanced around at the room for a second and saw the tray with the needle, the receiving tube, and the batricin. That was when I knew it was to late to back out, not that I would even if I could. I was instructed to take my pants down and sit on the chair, and soon came the artist with the receiving tube.
He started to place the tube in my urethra, and it became quite painful. So painful that I almost grabbed him, but stopped and put my hands on the seat of the chair. After that was done he grabbed the needle and started to line up the tube. Then came a very slow painful piercing, and finally the needle was thru and in the tube. He removed the tube and then finished it off with the ring.
I sat for a while as he closed up the ring and put the ball in place. He then told me to grab a care sheet and some salt on the way out. I walked out of the room and past the clerk at the counter who seamed to think that it was extra rad that I had just gotten a PA. Then we drove back home.
There was minimal bleeding, and it doesn't hurt to urinate. I also never noticed any blood in my urine like other had. There is a problem when I woke up, the ring they used was big enough but still hurt when I woke up with the all to ominous morning wood. It's been a while now and it seams to be healing very nice, there is still some lymph in the morning but a salt soak takes that away quick as can be.
Overall a good experience.
