How did this start? A conservative corporate manager wanting to get a Prince Albert? I was opposed to weird piercing. My wife has a friend who has a nostril screw, and my wife started talking about getting one for herself. Well, okay, if that is what you want. I started searching the web to find out information on a nostril piercing, and came across BME. This is really where it begins.

However I started to look at the genital piercing images and read the experiences. Wow, was I enlightened, intrigued, hooked. One evening my wife and I surfed around and I showed her BME and said I wanted a piercing also. Now she was shocked. We looked around and I showed her all sorts of different piercings, then I told her I wanted a genital. Shocked again. Which one? I thought at that time a I wanted a scrotum, then we looked at the frenum, and I said never to a PA.
Well, 5 weeks later I had a frenum done and loved it. Why did I take it out 2 months later? Who knows? I missed having a piercing and decided I would get another. Back out to BME. Frenum again? Nope. Scrotum? Nope. Prince Albert? I'll take a look and read some more. Wife is really shocked. Why would I want this one? Who knows? Wife is skeptical, I am scared.
A couple of months pass and I have been emailing with the studio that did my frenum. Enchanted Ink in Boulder. Wolf gives me run down on the PA. She gives me some great advise about piercing a dildo and seeing if the wife likes it or not. My wife was not interested in dildos so that was out of the question. A few months later, when I was ready and had time to do the after care I called Enchanted Ink to make an appointment. Done, ready for the piercing. I mentioned the aftercare. Yes it takes time. I travel a lot, and having to soak twice a day needs to be thought about. Do not skimp on this, it really helps.
Anyway, the day arrives for the piercing and I can't get away from work. I reschedule for 3 days later. We get hit with a blizzard and Wolf cannot get into the studio. Reschedule again for the following Friday. I head to the studio with plenty of time, except I start getting cold feet. Chicken.... Nope I go in fill out the forms, pay and wait. Wolf calls me back and we chat about the procedure and she asks me all the normal stuff. Okay drop the pants, hop up on the table, clean the area and Wolf asks if I am nervous. Yes. Start the breathing, and stick, flinch, look down and see a 10 gauge needle sticking out my uretha. This is cool. Yeah, Wolf I am ok. Wolf puts in the ring and says you are gonna bleed. That was an understatement. Old Faithful was gushing. Wolf cleans it up, and cleans it up and... You get the idea. Wolf wraps me up like a mummy. (Girls are going to love this)
In about an hour I have to pee really bad. Wolf said to drink lots of water, and pee a lot. Into the bathroom I go and start unwrapping the mummy. My God I am a bloody mess. I almost wet myself getting 90 ft of gauze off me. Relief, no burning, no mess all over the bathroom. This is good. Wrong! I am still bleeding like crazy. Panic has set in. Okay, I find some things to wrap up in to prevent a further mess. Off to the store to buy supplies for the next few days. Back home and try to wrap myself up lime a mummy again.
Problem, my mummy wrapping sucks. I can't get the bandages to stay in place. Have you ever tried to put 90 feet of gauze on a bleeding penis? I have. It doesn't work to well. With enough tape and gauze, I get it to kind of stay in place. Good. Nope, time to go eat. Yeah right, you want to go eat tonight. 2 hours later I gotta pee again, no, that means I have to unwrap. Maybe I have quit bleeding. Still no burning. Still bleeding. Time to wrap up again. Better this time. Finally I get this wrapped up and go to bed. No sleep because I was terrified that I would bleed all over the sheets. When I get up in the morning, the gauze was not soaked through. Hmmm. This is good. Unwrap and take a leak. No Blood. This IS good.
That was the last of the blood.
What I found out though is the ring was a little snug. This is worse than the piercing. Called the studio and Wolf says come on in and get it changed. We actually discussed this earlier. She thought it might be a little small.

Enchanted Ink is excellent. Wolf is excellent. I really like my PA and it is not coming out. I will stretch to an 8 gauge soon though. It took me a long time to research and decide if I wanted this piercing. For me it is great. If you think you might want a PA, do your research, ask questions, talk to your partner about the piercing, wait awhile and think about it. It does take a commitment to take care of it during the healing process. BME is a great place to get information, but let the decision be yours. Good luck.
