I have always been totally against the idea of genital piercing's. Until one day I was chatting online and met a guy who had a Prince Albert. He showed me a picture of his ring; it was a 10ga 1inch suspension ring. Just looking at it got me totally excited. That was when I decided that I needed one for myself.

Then one day I got my financial aid check from school, and decided that right then I was going to get my PA!
I went downtown to a piercing shop that had been recommended to me, Addictions. The staff was friendly, and they helped me decide that I would be better with a ¾" ring to start off with and then I could change size later (though I think I like the ¾" more now) they took my back into a little room, and laid me down on the bed (just like at the dentist. After I dropped my pants, she examined my penis, and mentioned how the piercing would have to be on one side or the other of my web of skin (I am uncut) I told her that it didn't matter to me which side it went on. She then proceeded to insert a q-tip covered in a white thick paste into my urethra. This was to numb the skin, it was also the most painful part, and didn't really hurt that much. She wrapped my q-tipped penis in seran wrap, and left me alone for 5 minutes, to let it soak in.
When she came back, she removed the seran wrap, and showed me how the paste had made my penis white in all the numb areas. She also took out the q-tip at this time. She showed me the receiving tube, which looked way to big to fit into my cock. When she slid it in, it felt like an itch more than anything else, barely noticeable. Then, when she finally put the needle through the skin of my penis, I never even noticed it. About 30 seconds later, I asked if she had pierced me yet, and to my surprise I had been. She cleaned me up and told me about after care and that was it.
When I got home, I took out my penis, for my first time to pee. I was terrified that it would hurt, but to my surprise, there was no pain, just an unusual feeling. I replace the bandage with a maxi pad, wrapped around my penis, and went on with my day. By the night, the pad had a small amount of blood in it, but not as much as I had expected. That night, it bled a bit, but by morning it had stopped bleeding altogether. Also I had noticed when I first looked at it when I got home, it was very swollen, and unattractive, I was afraid my penis was going to stay like this, but after 12 hours, I was back to my normal shape size.
The first night, I also tested it for usability. I was able to sustain erection, without pain or discomfort, and I was even able to orgasm with it in. After I came though, I think I damaged the tissue in there. For about 12 hours after I came, I got a painful burning sensation when I urinated, but thankfully that went away.
My Prince Albert has now been in for 2 and a half days, I got it on Halloween on 2001, and I totally love it. It does not hurt, never did hurt (except when previously mentioned). Pissing with it is kind of fun (dorky me) and I have many friends that want me to show them. I can't wait to show it off!!!
Now that my piercing is in, I wonder why I was so worried about having it done. It is super easy to have done, it is healing very quickly, it looks attractive (or at least I would like to think that it does) and I really, really love the feeling I get when I walk, and I can feel the weight of it swinging back and forth. It really does feel quite nice. To all of you out there, who are like I was a month or two ago, thinking about getting a PA, but not really sure, and maybe just a little bit scared, here is my advice. Forget your worries and your cares, get a Prince Albert, it will be one of the best decisions you've ever made, I know it was for me!!
