Personal experiences in my life have shaped who i am and what kind of person i have become. There are several key experiences which bring me closer to who i want to be on the outside and inside. One of the biggest one's is the day that i decided to go and get my penis pierced. An experience that left me a different person though and through.

It was a small paper book with several general piercings and a brief history and knowledge about them. It also gave good info about picking the proper piercing, placement, and care for the piercing. immediately, i am drawn into reading everything that i could in the book and the history of body piercings. Deciding what i wanted to get was a completely different matter. There were so many different things to choose from. I had only my left ear lobe done and my nipples done, so i had plenty of options to choose from. I finally decided that the right piercing for me, at the time, was a genital piercing called a Prince Albert.
I choose this one because it was a relatively simple operation. I was very nervous about the whole thing and constantly kept second guessing myself. "Should I?" or "Shouldn't I?:}". Plus i was still a month away from my birthday which gave me plenty of time researching the procedure and healing and caring for the piercing. I also went and talked to the shop where i was going to have it done at and talked in detail with the man that would be doing it. He explained the piercing and what was all involved. So, when the day of my birthday came, i went and pulled out the right amount of cash (plus tip), and went in to get pierced.
Well, soon enough it was my turn and i went to the piercing and tattooing room and watched as the piercer prepared everything. First the bottom hole is marked to ensure proper placement. The second part is the worst of the whole thing. The piercer used a Q-tip with lidocane (it is a topical anesthetic which temporarily shrinks the blood vessels to numb the skin) and then slowly inserted the Q-tip into my urethra and let it sit there while the lidocane takes effect. Next, he holds the Q-tip and inserts the needle in from the bottom until it hit the Q-tip. Then while he slowly pulls on the Q-tip and pushing the needle along with the Q-tip so that they both come out of the urethra. The most common initial piercing jewelry so that there is enough room to clean and care for the piercing. Finally, my piercer stopped the blood from gushing out. It is a very bloody piercing due to the amount of vessels and capillaries in the penis. After that i got a little cleaned up, paid, and then left.
There are a few things that i am going to warn anyone who is thinking of getting a prince albert. First and foremost, when you have to urinate soon after getting the piercing, i would suggest sitting down because it will hurt and you will be in pain. The reason it hurts is because your urin is steril and it is cleaning the wound. Make sure take it easily and try not to do a lot of big things like lifting, caring, and because it can tear the fresh piercing and cause a longer heal time and more tender with more scar tissue. So, be careful with it. Also, like i said earlier, it does bleed a lot and it will form crusts around each end. Because there is so much blood so some might wear through your clothes and make a spot on the outside of your clothes. So, be careful what you wear afterwards and for the next day or so. Generally speaking, any male genital piercing will bleed a lot due to the large amount of blood flowing through it. A scab should form the same day that you get it pierced but, by moving around and such the scab will break open and start to bleed.
The best way to clean it with a normal anti-bacterial soap (no perfumes or fragrences should be added) or a little salt disolved in water is another good way. The salt water cleans the piercing and gets rid of unwanted bacteria without hurting the piercing. Plus it softens the crusts that form on the ring.
Ever since i went and got my penis pierced i have become a different person. I find that i am now more outgoing and more talkative with new people that i have just meet. Now this is not because i go around telling people what i did. I just find myself being more and more sociable. Also, i don't think that the change in myself was directly because of the piercing but rather because this was something bold and different and i had been more shy of a person. The whole experience was a very positive one and i am glad that i made that choice. This piercing is not for everyone, but it sure has changed a lot about me.
