I had been wanting a PA for a while but ended up getting 2 hafadas before it. I had gotten 4 piercings before this one and never felt any pain. I talked to alot of people about the Prince Albert before I went in and did it.

It seemed like everyone had about the same procedure that was not very painful. The only thing that freaked me out was the receiving tube b/c I never had anythign in my urethrea and I was told it was the worst part of the piercing. I never saw the size of it, but it heard it is fairly large since it has to be bigger than the needle. My piercer assured me that my urethrea will stretch very easily and to a very large size and the tube is nothing to be scared of.
It was the day of the procedure. I filled out all the paperwork. I had talked to the piercer the night before and he said he was going to make be an 8ga curved barbell because that is the most comfortable. The day of the piercing he told me that he couldn't make one right with 8ga, so he made a 10ga instead. He told me that the worst part would be the discomfort of the recieving tube and the actually piercing would be less painful than my hafadas even though those were 12ga and the PA would be 8ga. I found this hard to believe since I didn't feel any pain for my hafadas and the head of my penis is alot more sensitive than loose skin on my scrotum.
He told me to go to the back and he joined me about 20 seconds later. He explained the whole thing to me and I was nervous as hell. After he was done, he told me to drop my pants, lay done and chill out. He cleaned me off, which felt really uncomfortable to me. By this time I was extremely nervous and was shaking a little. He told me to just relax and when I am calm to tell him and he would start. This took me about 10 minutes. Finally I told him to go ahead. He put in the receiving tube, which really wasn't that uncomfortable like everyone has said, but it did sting a little. Right after he put it in he told me to take a deep breath and breathe out. While I exhailed, the needle went in the bottom of my head and out the urethrea. I will not lie and say it is a little pinch. I was the most pain I'd eer felt and it lasted about 3 seconds. I screamed very loudly. once the needle was through I didn't feel any pain. He put the jewelry in and screwed on the balls. He told me it was done and to just lay down, relax, and take deep breathes. After I was calm again, he let me know he ended up doing 8ga and that it came out great. I was very happy.
I've had it for almost a week now and it isn't sore, painful, or uncomfortable. The first and third night I woke up covered in blood. I walk around with a latex gloves taped around my shaft to catch all the blood and I wear briefs to keep it from moving around. It is supposed to stop bleeding after 7-10 days. The first 3 days it bled a noticeable amount, but after that it is hardly noticeable. Everyone once in a while I get an erection and it feels kind of funny, but that is about it. I love using the restroom with it (even though I have to sit down) because it has that "morning" piss feeling every time I go. It seems to be healing pretty fast. This is because everytime I urinate, it cleans it out, and urine is sterile. My piercer is going to make me new jewelry once it heals, which is going to be in about a month, 2 months max.
Like I said, the only pain during the whole time was the 3 seconds it took him to get the needle in. Those three seconds are very intense and I loved it. I would recommend anyone who wants to get one of these to go for it. I love mine and don't plan on ever taking it out. I have an 8ga curve barbell/horseshoe in it now which looks humongous. I plan on either changing it to a steel curved barbell or an acrylic horseshoe once it heals, but my piercer is already making me cool custom jewelry which I plan on wearing b/c what he described sounds really cool.
