My fiancée was thinking about getting a PA. I really wanted him to do it I kind of have this piercing fetish. He only had his tongue pierced and he has a couple earings. So after doing extensive research for him, I had finally managed to talk him in to doing it. I read everything I could find on the Internet and I read many of the experiences on BME. It seemed to be a fairly uncomplicated piercing. Sureley nothing he couldn't handle.

Smoked a bowl, and went in to the piercing shop. He was a little nervous; after all he was about to put a hole through his most favorite body part. The piercer set up in her room and called us back when everything was ready.
She told my fiancée to drop down his pants and get comfortable on the chair, which he did. She checked out his built and decided to go with a medium size receiving tube, after digging around the room for five minutes she said they must be out of the medium size recieving tubes. She connected the needle to the small sized receiving tube and it was to snug of a fit, so she decided to go with the large one instead.
She asked him if he was allergic to latex (Through out the whole prosedure she must have changed her gloves twenty or so times.)or iodine. He replied with a no. So she cleaned his urethra with iodine and marked where she would pierce him. She then lubed up the receiving tube. She had a hard time getting it in, since it was too big for his size, so he squirmed with discomfort. Once she barely got it where she wanted it, she proceeded to reach for the needle. As she began to slowly pierce his skin, he jumped, surprised by the amount of pain he experienced. She pulled the needle back and blood started to gush from my poor babies peepee. It got all over the covered chair and his thighs. I do not think I have ever seen so much blood from a piercing.
The three of us kind of freaked out. She put some gauze on his penis to stop the bleeding. A minut or so later it began to clot. She asked him weather he wanted to try it again or perhaps go with a frennum instead of the PA. He pondered for a moment and decided to again proceed with the PA. I was really surprised, seeing what just happened made me never want to get another piercing again. So when he decided to try it again I realized just how much this man would do, to just please me.
We took a little break for a couple of minutes. And so with shaky hands she again put in the receiving tube and again he squirmed with discomfort. She again slowly pushed the needle through, this time my fiancée did not fidget and the needle was through, after about seven seconds. She bandaged him up because he was bleeding again and we headed for the door.
Now, I did not find any info when I was researching saying the piercing would take that long, everything I read, said it was over in one or two seconds. So this did not make any sense. It was long and painful and bloody. I felt so bad I talked him in to doing this. But it was over, and it was not at all anything him or I expected. It was nothing like the stories I read on BME. I have watched many people get pierced and never had I seen anything like this. My own piercings have always been quick and painless, all 14. This came as a bad surprise.
Anyway, She gave him instructions on how to care for his new piercing and gave him a couple of packets of sea salt. She immediately ran out for a cigarette, as did we. Thank god it was over. I do not know about him but I was happy he finally got his PA. Now he plans to also get a frennum too, but it will definetly not be at the same place.
May be we just got an inexperienced piercer, if so she should have informed us of this. So remember guys it is not only important to do research on a piercing, but research on the piercer wouldn't hurt either.
We came home and both of us had a grin on our faces, over all he was glad he went through all that ordeal. He even called it "a life changing experience."
The healing process is still ahead, we will see how that goes.
