This begins in another location, Westchester County NY. I have thought about getting a PA for several years; played with guys who had them and thought they were very exciting. Getting psyched to get one myself was another story. Last year, and particulary the summer, I was almost posessed with getting it done. I did several business trips and constantly looked for piercing studios - but am VERY glad I did not do it away from home. I finally located a studio in Westchester County NY, which I will not name. I called and the person anwering the phone had to ask the Piercing Person if he did PA's. First clue! SO - psyched and ready - I left work in the city early and got home. Upon entering the place, I was given a form to fill out with very little discussion about the procedure. After standing around for 25 minutes, I asked when I would be taken andwaas informed that "the room" was in use for a tattoo and there were others ahead of me. Note that I also had an appointment. I become angry and demanded to see the piercer. He came out and was not more that 20 years old and had done, by hs own admission, 2 PA's. I left skid marks on the way out. There was no way HE was going to touch me.

I was crushed and went into more study. A friend who had his PA re-done at Andromeda told me it was the "Only place to go - and Mikel was the very best. There were never more true and exact words spoken. I called Mikel and he was superb. So - I made the appointment!

I arrived and the first thing we did was talk in detail about the aftercare and I was given a printed, detailed information sheet. Nothing was missing! We chose the jewelry and I paid the man - gladly.

The piercing room was like a doctor's office. It was immaculate and I felt totally at ease. He asked me to drop my pants and briefs and lie in the chair. He prepped and cleaned, laying a towel over the site. I asked about the use of Xylocaine - he said t would be so quick, I would feel almost nothing. The Xylocaine is far more uncomfortable. You know - he was correct. The insertion tube was slightly uncomfortable but the piercing was a pinch. I was euphoric at the moment I saw the ring in place! WOW. He cleaned it off and there was not any bleeding that I could see. Some soft towel and a rubber glove and I was on my way home. I will tell you that I wanted to tell everyone in the street that I had just gotten a PA. I headed to the communter train and home. I did go into the john and check and there was a big red spot! That was nothing compared to when I took off the glove and towelling. The bleeding was scary. The first urination was worse. It was the worst stinging I ever felt; I thought I would pass out. I have extensive tattoos (5) and so pain is not a problem. This was different.

The night was tough; I kept it wrapped in a non-stick pad and taped; wore briefs to bed and did not sleep much - worried aout turning over on it. I did that - no way to tell you about how I woke up! This was on December 1, 2000 so this is fairly new. I have cleaned it (as Mikel directed) twice a day - no more- no less. Used anti bac soap and sometimes Triadine - but not both. It's been five weeks now and I am doing really well with it. Tried wearing boxers but too soon. It bangs around too much!

I will say that the after care is very important and anyone who says they went dancing or playing right after this is simply not telling the truth. There is no way this just happens and you are all set. That is not to say you are in agony, but it takes time to adjust, find the right kind of underwear that work for you etc. But it pays off.

I did masturbate after the first two weeks and must say it was one of the most intense of my life. Last weekend, I played fully with it and it is more amazing with a raging erection and someone else in the action. I am hopful for ever more in the future.

If you are going to get a PA - call Andromeda in NYC. Mikel is the very best - a sweet (and very attractive man) and he knows what he is doing. I am waiting until the end of January, which will be two full months and upgrade to an 8ga - I have a 10 in at the moment.

Do it!
