Prince Albert - well worth it

After experiencing the delights of a navel, tongue, nipple piercing and labret piercing, I began to research the feared genital piercing realm.

The idea of someone sticking a needle through my penis was, to say the least, repulsive, but at the same time appealing due to its almost forbidden nature.

Being that I was unsure as to which piercing would suit me best, I found BME and began to read all that I could on men's genital piercings. I had heard of a Prince Albert before as it seems to be one the most popular and famous piercings. I was drawn to it due to it's sexual nature and to be honest, it's reputation as the least painful of the genital piercings.

After this research, I went to my piercer (David at Absolution) and booked a time to get a Prince Albert done. I discussed the procedure with him, and asked some questions about how long healing would take, how long I would be "out of action" etc. David was very helpful and was happy to answer all my questions. Needless to say, the wait of 3 weeks was intense, mixed with feelings of excitement, nerves, doubts, fear and pleasure.

The day I had booked was a week day, so I went to the piercing studio before my shift at work started. The feelings of the preceding weeks intensified to an incredible level, my stomach was churning and yet I felt calm (or at least looked it on the outside).

While David prepared his equipment, I waited in the front of the shop. No chance to back out now! When he was ready he called me into the back part of the store, in complete privacy behind large, dark black curtains. We spoke briefly, and I was then instructed to get up on the table (I use the term table loosely, it's padded, with a slight incline at the end where your head lies) and then lowered my shorts to my knees.

After reading other experience stories on BME and speaking to David about the procedure, I knew exactly what was about to happen. David and I discussed which side of my frenum was best to pierce next to as I have a quite pronounced frenum. We decided on the left hand side and decided to use a CBR of 10 gauge (2.58 mm). I was a little surprised to see my penis shrink to a tiny size, it almost looked too small to pierce! David then got the receiving tube and inserted it into my urethra. This was uncomfortable but not at all painful, he then proceeded to pierce my penis. I uttered a muffled "ow" but by no means was it painful. It felt just like a firm pinch and after that, the ring was inserted and it was all over. My heart was beating at a huge rate of knots and then the euphoria rushed over me. I looked down and there was my cock with a ring through it. I took a moment to contemplate and then asked about the bleeding. There was very little, and no need for any gauze or the rubber glove. It felt a little uncomfortable but not sore, just a little sensitive. I pulled up my shorts, paid my money, got my after care pack (after care guide, rock salt for saline rinsing and bar of mild antiseptic soap) and went to work. My grin extended from ear to ear, and I couldn't wait to tell everybody!

I got to work and then drank water so that my first piss would be dilute, but unfortunately I drank too much and when I finally went (sit down for this one guys) it stung like an absolute bitch! Because I drank so much water, it was dilute but went on and on and on!

After care was great, I cleaned it every morning in the shower with the antiseptic soap and did a warm salt water soak each night. It tended to bleed a little over night, but was never more than a few spots on my boxers.

Being the horny little fucker I am (email me if you are cute and queer) I jerked off 3 days afterwards, albeit very gently! I couldn't help it, it looked so hot! I wouldn't recommend wanking that soon and I should have waited for at least one week. I played Netball one week after having the piercing done and had no problems at all (although I did put some tissues in my briefs to protect it just in case). It healed well and was back to normal 6 weeks later, no infections, no bleeding.

After a few months of healing, I decided to increase the size of my CBR and decided on an 8 gauge ring. The stretching was a little uncomfortable but not at all painful. I looked this time, and it was a bit weird seeing my cock skewered by the blunt stretching needle. I'm now thinking about up sizing to a 6 gauge ring but haven't decided if I want a new piercing instead! I'm thinking possibly a guiche or maybe a scrotal piercing. I guess time will tell!

The Prince Albert is a great piercing that I fully recommend if you are seriously considering a genital piercing.
