Well, here is my experience. You might think that with a name like Mike Leatherman he would be a big, mean, and burly individual. But, the opposite is quite true. He is a very nice, patient, and true person. I chose mike leatherman for this piercing because he had done a few of my other piercings and i felt very comfortable with him. he really knows what he is doing and has a really good attitude that makes most people feel right at home and like they can ask him anything.

So, i had been contemplating the idea of getting a genital piercig for quite some time. I had my decision down to either a prince albert or a frenum piercing. My girlfriend and i discussed both of the piercings and as you can see by the title of the story i opted for the prince albert. This was to be my first genital piercing, but i have nine other piercings so i knew what to expect in some regards. as far as the actual procedure i had read almost all of the prince albert experiences on BME. this really helped to make my decision and go ahead with the piercing. let me just say that this site is the best piercing site around. it really helps to hear/read other peoples experiences especially if yoju aren't around many people with the piercing that you want.

i called mike to make the appointment for the next week. I thought about getting pierced every day until the day arrived. Aurora is quite a ways from my house but i knew that i did not want anyone but mike to pierce my genitals, so the trip was worth it. i left for the shop around 10:30, so i could get there around noon. i arrive at the shop and mike is piercing so i just have to wait a short time until it is my turn. When Mike was done with the piercing he came out and said hello to me and then we got started on the required forms. Once all this was out of the way we were almost ready to do the piercing.

We the proceeded back into the piercing room. Mike is a very clean piercer and really knows his shit. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality piercing out in the suburbs of chicago. So, he has me sit on the massage table while he gets out all of the instruments, jewlery, and the needle. Then we are ready to begin. first he began by cleaning up the area. then, he looks at and measures my penis to decide on the best placement for the piercing. he marks the spot with gentian violet and then he asks me what i think, and i say "well, your the piercer... but, i think it looks like the right spot." Then he asks me if i am ready to begin. I was so i said,"yeah im ready."

Everyone told me that the receiving tube was the worst part... but i did not think that it was that bad. he lubed it up and then inserted it into my eurthra. dont get me wrong it wasnt the greatest feeling in the world but it definately was not the worst part of the piercing. we were all set and then he asked me to take two deep and slow breaths. after that he said take one more deep breath and on the exhale i am going to do the piercing. i inhaled and i was nervous as hell... knowing that he was about to put a 10g needle through my member. then, i exhaled and he did the piercing. WOW... not bad at all. Actually, i thought that it would be much more painful than that. he inserted the jewlery and then bandaged my up with the glove. i had a little bit of bleeding but nothing major. we talked for a little while and then i left to make my long trek home. let me tell you that the train ride home was quite an experience. if you can i would highly suggest getting someone to go with you so you can relax in a car and not have to worry about the people on the train wondering why you have that wierd look on your face.

the aftercare was really simple and easy to follow. i did the sea salt soaks twice a day and used a mild anti-bacterial soap when i was in the shower. this is a really easy piercing to take care of and it heals fairly quickly. Pissing burned a little in the beginning and i had to learn how to piss again. that was a whole lot of fun. most of my friends with prince alberts sit down to pee... i realised why after a day or two... rather than spraying all over the place just sit and then your bathroom will stay clean. other than the pissing thing i had no complications during the healing time.

it does make sex more interesting especially in the beginning... my girlfriend also thinks that it feels nice and that is just an added benefit. i would tell anyone thinking about a prince albert to go ahead and do it. it's not that bad... and it is a whole lot of fun. besides it looks great. i have plans to get a pair of dydoes some time in the next few months. i will report back to BME with my experience when that time comes.
