Well, first off, I have to say that I'm only 16 years old, so the fact that I have this piercings if probably not good, considering I'm from a province where you have to be 18 to get it. That said, the piercer didn't ask my age, and I didn't tell it. Nor did the release form say

anything about birth date, go figure...

On to the experience...

The day I went to get the piercing was just any other day, I walked to the studio and was ushered in without questions. The PA has been a piercing I've wanted for quite some time, to compliment my other seven, but needless to say I was a little nervous. I think I was

smaller that day than I had ever been, for all those that wonder what happens if you get an erection, it won't happen! I went to a piercer who didn't know me, and although he had pierced some of my friends with success, I was a little unsure about. Cleaning was pretty much the standard betadine swabbing and a mark was placed about 5/8 of an inch down from the urethra exit. It was put a little off to the side, but I'm not sure why, and at the moment, I guess I forgot to ask. It has since centered itself well, although it is still a little off to the left, but I think as I stretch it, it will conform to a nice centered position. The receiving tube was placed into my urethra with a rather cold sterile lubricant, I think it was KY or something, and I was asked to breathe in and out very deeply. I did, and just as I

reached maybe my third breathe the needle was pushed through! It didn't really hit me, the fact I had a needle in my penis, until I looked down to see and what an odd sight. For all those who know what I mean, yeah. For everybody else, lets just say it's slightly

disconcerting to see a needle through your most sensitive part. However, I thought it would hurt more, but it was in fact much LESS painful than I was getting all nervous for! I was pleasantly surprised that the piercing had gone off without a hitch and quickly the

ring, a 12 gauge(should have been a 10 gauge at the minimum, I know, but all he had at the moment) 5/8 inch captive bead was inserted. I think the piercer was a little nervous, or something, because he couldn't seem to stop his hands from shaking, just a bit, when he

tried to put the bead in the ring. This in turn started a little bit of bleeding, but nothing I couldn't handle. I was wrapped in gauze and a rubber glove and sent on my way.

The way home I was feeling pretty good, and the first cleaning was not bad, actually. As well, the first urination, although it hurt, was bearable. The next morning I awoke to find a good amount of blood around myself, nothing I couldn't cope with. Again the same bearable cleaning and urination issues. This continued for the next night, but stopped by the third night. I would recommend sleeping without underwear and on your back if you can. The pressure that can build up on the ring by just wearing underwear, is pretty intense, since the whole idea of underwear is to keep you down. Simply don't wear any,

and I think you will have less problems with knocking the ring around and starting bleading. I used salt water baths and tea tree soap to clean the piercing and heal it. I'm not sure if tea tree soap is the recommended for this piercing, but I have had such good success with it, that I was willing to try it. About a week later I was feeling back to my usual self, and within 2-3 weeks I could hardly tell I had the ring in my penis. At about 3 weeks, I bought a 10 gauge 3/4 inch ring, oh yeah, the piercer also used too small a diameter of a ring, and I inserted it without trouble.

I want to stretch my newest piercing up to atleast a 4 gauge, but I'm not sure how to go about this. I don't really want to force anything through, as it's rather sensitive. I was told that frequent "use" would stretch the piercing on its own, and I hope this is true. I already have a 6 gauge ring that I hope to insert next, but I'm not sure if I can jump right from a 10 gauge to a 6 gauge. Thus far, I have been unsucessful on pushing the 6 gauge ring through, but the piercing is still rather fresh. More than anything though, I'm curious what this will do for my sex life. Lets face it, when you're younger, you get to have a lot more fun, and I believe this piercing is going to make that fun much more interesting and much more plentiful.

It has now been about 5 weeks that I have had the ring, and wow, I really like it. In fact, I think everybody likes it. I recently went to a party, and it seems that once you have a genital piercing you are a little more popular, especially when you're only 16. I think it has

been received very well, and the ladies truly like it. I'm still not sure what the "test" will be like, as I got the piercing, when, and still, am single, but from what I hear, it will probably be a positive result. I recommend waiting atleast 6 or 7 weeks before putting it to any hard use, or atleast that's what I'm going to do. As well, if you experience any soreness, just give your body a little more time to adjust to it.

If I can say anything about this piercing, it's that it really didn't hurt that much, and has been worth it. If anything, I'm a little more well known, and as far as I can tell, having more friends, especially female ones, is a good thing. I say, go for it. It's a great piercing,

and who knows, you might get a reputation among the ladies that you like. It is by far my favourite piercing...
