Guess what's under the suit and tie |

Every Fall I get the itch to do something on the edge. By outward appearances, I am a very quiet, professional looking guy. Inside, I am quite different. My first piercing experience was having my nipples done. They were done in a leather shop, at a bar, in Dallas, Texas. The guy running the cash register used an ear piercing gun to do the job. The only advice he gave was to keep them clean and not to let anyone touch them that evening. A friend told me that I should be very drunk because of the pain. I could barely stand. The hang over the next morning was more painful than the piercing. This was in the early 80's -- before they were smart enough to double check things such as age and soberness, or thought of cleanliness, or artistry. I kept the rings in until I went on a business sponsored trip to the Bahamas. I could not risk the job. The left nipple grew back, but right nipple can still receive a 10 gauge ring.Six years ago, I was on the way to pick up my parents at the airport. On the way, I stopped by the shops on Cedar Springs. While I was trying on a really hot pair of leather shorts, the guy in the next dressing area (not really enough privacy to call them rooms) asked me to help him get strapped into a full body harness. Although he was not my type, I really became fascinated with his PA. After 20 minutes of questions, he bought the harness, and I promptly ditched the shorts and headed for a shop down the street. I walked in and asked if I would need an appointment to have a piercing done. After selecting the jewelry, (captured bead, 10 gauge S/S), I was ushered into a room that would have made a doctor proud. Then to my surprise, a woman entered the room. She was to do the procedure. Looking down at my watch, I knew that I had to be at the airport gate in a little over an hour. Being gay, I had very little experience letting a woman touch my crotch. I was beginning to have second thoughts when she told me to lose the pants so she could see what she had to work with. Reluctantly, I "dropped trou" and got on the table. She was very professional, telling me each step as it was performed. The piercing itself, was not painful, just a slight prick (no pun intended). Before I knew it I was on my way to the airport with a rather large mound of bandages on my crotch. As I entered the airport, I realized that I was going to have to go through the metal detector. My mind raced as I could envision my parents finding me in the airport security office with a group of snickering security guards. To my surprise, I didn't even set off the metal detector.
The healing process was a little touchy. I bought a "Depends" type pad to insert in my briefs to contain the blood. I did bleed for several days. The level of pain peaked at day five and began to decrease slowly. My thoughts of having to be sexually out of commission for several weeks began to be less of a problem than I first thought. Thinking that you might have done major damage to yourself is a big turn-off. At the end of the first week, I almost removed the ring. Then, I thought, an open hole might bleed more. I waited one month after the last day that I had any bleeding before I tried out the new addition. It was certainly worth the wait. The additional sensations I get from the ring are beyond words. The feelings of arousal during the day just knowing that I have something extra down there is a bonus.
I have only encountered two situations in which my PA has created a problem. The first is in any public restroom. Having to sit on a toilet to urinate can be a problem if there are no open stalls. Then you say to yourself, "I can use the urinal without getting my pants wet." That is what I have said many times right before I get the front of my pants wet. The second situation is the gym locker room. I try to be discreet as possible. There always seems to be an old guy sitting putting his socks on as I need to drop my shorts. The worst I have encountered have been a few dirty looks.
Here I am, six years later. I have had a variety of responses to my PA. The most common is, "I bet that hurts," to which I respond, "bend over and you can tell me if it does." I currently have in a 6 gauge captured bead. I think that this Fall I will go for a 4 gauge and perhaps have the nipples redone properly.
