Well, I did it. I finally got the PA that I've been thinking about for so long. I started out in the body piercing scene like a lot of people, I guess. I got my ear pierced years ago when i was sixteen and didn't think much of anything else for a long time. I live in, what I would call, a small army town in Oklahoma. There's not a lot to do here, so when you get bored you find something. For a few years I had thought about getting my tongue pierced, but wasn't sure about that because of the work situation. When I finally got a job that it would be acceptable in, my girlfriend was completely against it. The girlfriend eventually went so, I got the tongue pierced.

I was hooked. I no sooner got the bar put in and asked for another. She wouldn't do two in a row. She sucks so I went looking for a new piercer. I found one that I thought might be good, because she was a nurse. I got my nipples pierced there. It was probably the worst pierce I've seen. They weren't done evenly, the left deeper than the right, and talk about pain. The clamps were the worst part, but I had read somewhere that for the most part piercing shouldn't be as bad as this. Not to mention, she never changed gloves, but she took them off to finish the putting the balls on the rings. Disappointed I paid and left.

I had been looking online for a while and BME was my favorite piercing site. I noticed that one of the experiences was from a studio in Oklahoma City, not an hour and a half away. I asked around and everyone said that they were the best in the region. I had to go see. By this time i so wanted a PA that I was tempted to do it myself. I'm glad that I didn't. The people a 23rd Street are the best. They're all pretty friendly and pierced everywhere, so I had a good idea that they knew what to expect in a pierce from personal experience and not just what others said. I went in just to look and ask a few questions, but I was too impressed. The lady behind the counter took the time to explain everything from the walk in to the care proceedures. I was pretty nervous so I left and went for a drive to think, I mean hey, they're going to stab my dick! I calmed down, hit the ATM and went back. I said I was ready, I had to read and sign a few papers and then the wait.

Afer an a few minutes had gone by they called me up. I walked back to the room with Chris. It was very clean and looked like a doctors exam room. He laid everything out and showed me that it was all in sterile packs. I was getting really nervous again, because Chris hadn't said much at all. Then he told me to relax, it's not that bad. He told me to lay back and that when he said to, I would take a deep breath and let it out slowly. Sitting there with myself exposed was kind of odd in front of a guy with a needle, but I was determined to get this done. He explained that the cleaning would be cold and to relax, and cold it was. He said that this would be the worst part and to take a deep breath and let it out. The receiving tube was in place. Uncomfortable, but not unbearable. He lined up with the mark and called for the next deep breath. Before I felt anything more than a push he was done and had me look. NO PAIN. It was completely painless. I'm not big on pain and was praying for little, and luckily got none. Completely impressed by the experience, and having money left over from the small charge (less than $60) I had to give him an extra $20 for a "thank-you for not mutilating me tip.

All in all, it was a wonderfull experience. I have had only a little bleeding (about three paper towels full) and not a bit of pain. If anyone is thinking of getting this done, it's a must. You gain so much sensitivity and the feeling of the ring is great. As far as healing, I'm not sure yet, but I think I may be a quick healer. It's only been two days and is only a little tender when I move it the wrong way, and there is not much sting even when I piss (although, pissing like a watering can is a little tricky in public bathrooms). This is a must for anyone who is thinking about it. As soon as I get a picture I will be sending it in also.
