8 Gauge to 4 Gauge... and soon larger |

Piercing has always been a facination with me. The first time I had anything pierced was when I lived in Atlanta in the early 80's. There was a small leather accessories boutique in a club in Atlanta, GA, (Mrs. P's, if anyone remembers!) A friend had both nipples pierced and I always enjoyed playing with them - as much as he enjoyed my playing with them. My friend decided I should get my nipples pierced and he offered to do that for me - as there were no real piercing studios at that time. That is a story by itself - but not really relevant to this experience, so I will save it for a different time. Besides, I want to keep this as G-rated as possible :-)I first ran into a PA in the early 1990's and found it interesting, but did not think too much about at that time. But as they became more and more commonplace, I thought again about the subject of a PA. I really have to give Shannon's BME a lot of credit for providing information on the subject as well as a series of photographs of different styles and sizes of PAs.
A couple of years ago, I broke down and decided to try a PA. After dating a couple of guys with PAs and they had told me how great they felt in place - not just when having sex, but also while running around in a suit as the busy executive type, it seemed like the thing to do. By that time, I was finding PAs to be really erotic and something I would like to try. I was game - besides... one thing about most piercings.. if you don't like it, it can usually be removed pretty easily.
There is a local piercing and tattoo studio in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas where I was living at the time. I had been in the shop once before to get a tattoo and found the shop to be friendly, clean, and professional.
I stopped by the studio and made an appointment with the piercer and also talked with him about what size jewelry to get. He recommended an 8 ga as the largest for an initial piercing so I bought that, set up an appointment, and then returned later that afternoon.
Of course I knew it would hurt like hell (or at least thought it would), but the piercer reassured me that a PA is one of the most painless piercings one could get. I laid myself on the table as he directed and dropped my pants so he could start working. He was great at calming my nerves and within a couple of minutes I was totally relaxed.
He placed an anesthetic on the tip of a Q-Tip and placed it down my shaft about an inch or so. After a few minutes, he took it out and said he was ready to proceed. He asked me to take a deep breath and then told me when to exhale - and then he told me the needle was through and then he followed it with the PA. I was really amazed that I felt almost nothing. Aside from a little blood at first, it healed within a few weeks.
Later that summer, I took it back out for a while and, unfortunately could not get it back in the hole. Little mistake. I ordered an 8 ga insertion taper and with a little work and a little pain was able to get it back in place.
Later I ordered an a 6 ga along with an insertion taper and stretched the hole to fit. That also hurt a bit so when I went for the 4 ga, I decided to order some EMLA cream (anesthetic) from BME to see if that would help. Last night, I put a little cream - it does not take much - on a Q-tip and placed it in my cockhead just as was done by the piercer the first time. After a few minutes, I took it out, put in the 4 ga insertion taper followed by the 4 ga circular barbell. It went in painlessly and easily.
I have already ordered a 2 ga with insertion taper and hope to put that in place in a couple of months. How far I will go with stretching my PA is still up in the air. Right now I want to get to at least a 00 gauge, but when I get there, who knows? If there is anyone out there who reads this and has a larger PA, please write to me and tell my how you like it!
I am not sure what want next, but I think that a frenum piercing is a great complement to a PA and I am planning to get one in the very near future.
