Over 40 and now I have a PA |
| ||||||||||||||
Last time I posted, I recounted the story of my first nipple piercing and then the subsequent stretching and repiercing. I now have both nipples pierced with 10 GA rings.Shortly after having my nipples "redone" I decided it was time for a PA. I was very happy with Holey Rollers in Colorado Springs, CO, so I called them and made the appointment. I was scheduled for Wednesday, June 30. I received a phone call on Tuesday of that week asking if I could reschedule to Thursday. Well, I had waited this long, what would another day matter.
Quick recap: I am a 43-year old married male. Quite conservative until the nipple piercings. This is just totally out of character from what people THINK about me. But you have to do something for yourself some day. Not that getting my nipples pierced has changed me in any profound way; it just makes me feel good. It has also been quite a conversation piece since I often go shirtless. I should add that I am 6'3", 200 pounds and in pretty good shape.
Back to the PA piercing.
My appointment was now for Thursday afternoon at 2 PM. I arrived at Holey Rollers at about 1:45. I was a bit nervous, but also quite excited. I had wanted this for a long time. The shop was fairly busy. They share space with a tattoo business.
I should tell you that the shop is very professional and very clean. I had been there several times before. In fact on my first visit (I was just checking out various places) I was given a tour. I was impressed. They use all the latest sterile techniques. I was also impressed that the two piercers had training and certification. During the actual piercing, everything was very sanitary. The piercer changed gloves many times. Before we started, he "sprayed" down the table with antiseptic spray.
I went to the counter and said that I was here for a PA. The young lady behind the counter said that the piercer (John AKA "Toast") was with a customer and would be with me in a few minutes. I was given the aftercare instructions and filled out and signed the consent form. When "Toast" came out, we looked at jewelry. I was positive that I wanted at least a 10 GA ring. We agreed on that and then picked out the diameter. I thought I'd need one of the larger ones and we picked out 3 or 4 different ones so he'd have them ready.
The young lady behind the counter was an apprentice and Toast asked if it would be all right if she observed. I kind of panicked. This was a very personal experience and I wasn't sure if I wanted another person there. I said no.
It was now time to do it. We went back to the room. "Toast" set up everything and said it was time for me to get up on the table. Of course I first had to remove my pants and underwear. I tend to sweat a lot, especially when I am nervous, so I took off my shirt too. So there I am, basically naked lying on the table.
Toast then had his first opportunity to 'take a look" at what he'd be piercing. He said he would use the largest ring, it would be the right size.
He then took a paper towel with a hole cut in the middle of it and pulled "me" through the hole. He did a bit more inspection and then cleaned me up. He inserted a tube into my urethra. It didn't hurt at all. I have read so many stories where this was the most painful part. Didn't bother me at all. Toast told me to take a deep breath and then he shoved the needle through the underside and it was over. I felt no pain at all. I was surprised at how easy it was. He then inserted the jewelry and wrapped me up and rubber-banded the glove around me.
I got dressed (carefully), paid my money and was on my way. I arrived home about 2 hours later and decided I should take a look. I was expecting some blood, but WOW. There was a lot of blood; I mean a lot of blood. The glove was pretty full. So I unwrapped, gently cleaned myself, took my first post piercing pee (again, this didn't bother me at all, no sting at all). I cleaned up and I was still bleeding. Not a little oozing, but a steady drip. It was a little scary. I called the piercing place and they said this was normal. Just keep it wrapped up. I was wondering how I would explain this in the emergency room. Anyway, I calmed down and after about four hours the bleeding had significantly slowed down. The next day it had all but stopped and by 48 hours it was over. I had survived.
Day 3: Okay, does it still work? I thought the best way to test it was to jackoff. Very gently and it was one of the most intense orgasms. I was a little sore. Day 5: The aftercare instructions said to use a condom for the first 3 to 6 weeks to protect against infection. I haven't bought condoms in years, so that was interesting. Wasn't sure which ones to buy (there is quite a selection out there!).
First time was intense. The condom wasn't really working, so after about 10 minutes or so, it was discarded. It's hard to describe the feeling. Let me just say I should not have waited to get this piercing. It makes everything so much more intense. I wouldn't want to be any other way.
I've had the PA for almost 3 months and it's great. I had a physical last week and was wondering what the doctor was going to say. We got to the point I was asked to remove my shirt so he could listen to my heart and he obviously noticed my pierced nipples and asked when and why. I then volunteered that I had a genital piercing. When we got to that part of the exam, his eyes really lit up. He remarked that it must have hurt and doesn't it make urinating a problem. This is a pretty middle class medical clinic. I was probably the first "pierced" guy-patient he's ever seen.
Guys, if you're thinking of getting a PA, just do it. I am ready for the next step. Not sure what that next step is. I'm sure that I want a larger ring in my PA. I'm thinking that I want to go to a 6 GA ring. I'll find out later this week. I am also thinking of getting a scrotal piercing. A tattoo can't be far behind.
Write and let me know what you think. I'd be happy to answer any other questions.
