I wanted to share my experience that happened a year ago. I had been reading piercing information on this site and others. I decided I wanted to try a serious piercing like an ampallang and slowly add a frenum ladder to match it. I had called around the Tampa area and there didn't seem to be many people who were willing to pierce an ampallang. Someone told me about Atomic Tattoo in Brandon, Florida who had a piercer named Brandy. I called her and she seemed to be very skilled and was able to do a ampallang and a ladder. She told me she needed several days notice for an ampallang though because she didn't stock a barbell that size.

I thought about our conversation and really wanted to get pierced that day. I figured at the very least I would start a ladder. I called Brandy again and asked if she had enough jewelry to start a ladder. She did and she had some free time that evening. She would pierce as many frenums as I could handle, but I really should not do more then four.

For the rest of the day I was nervous and very excited. What would it be like to be pierced numerous times in one sitting? Should I just wait until she had the barbell for the ampallang? Would it be embarrassing to have a female piercer? For the record, I would really recommend her. She is very nice, quick, clean and puts you at ease.

The day finally gave way to night and I cleaned up and drove to Brandon. I arrived at the shop and she was waiting. We exchanged small talk and filled out some paperwork. She also had to chase out some younger kids who kept asking what I was getting pierced. I was very nervous and a little embarrassed. I felt like I was twice the age of my piercer and I'm about to lower my pants and let her start a ladder.

We went into the back and I lowered my pants. She examined me and said I had a vein near the frenum area that might give her problems. I was really disappointed and then she suggested that I start from the bottom and work up. She could start on my balls, centering the barbells and start working up the shaft. I liked the idea.

I took a few deep breaths and she cleaned my balls and shaft and autoclaved the jewelry. She put four barbells at 10 gauge in the cleaner. She didn't use any forceps. She marked center placement lines and free handed the first piercing. She had placed the tip of the needle on one side and told me to breath in and when I breathed out she pierced me. Wow! It didn't hurt. It actually felt really good and worried me that I might get an erection. She took her time and asked if I wanted number two. I said yes and she repeated the procedure about a 1/4 inch higher. I couldn't believe I was finally doing this. She took some more time and asked if I wanted number three. I smiled and said yes. About a 1/4 inch higher went number three. It was looking very hot. I just kept praying I wouldn't get excited. She liked the look too and said it looked very nice. She asked if I wanted number four. I was a little nervous how sore I might be, but told her I wanted it and was ready. I felt a little rush of pain. She quickly pierced number four and started cleaning the area. I had minimal bleeding, but could tell I would be sore later.

During the procedure I kept asking her ampallang questions and told her I really hoped she had the barbell to pierce it now. I wanted it done in 10 gauge. So, now I'm asking her if she had 12 or 14 gauge. She didn't have those either, but told me that she really doesn't like to pierce ampallangs thinner then 10 gauge. I started asking her what would she recommend if I really wanted a male piercing that looks good and functional. She said the ampallang was good, but the p.a is good as well. I asked if she had any 10 gauge p.a rings and she did.

The decisions. Should I wait for the ampallang or does the p.a look just as good with a ladder. I asked her if she could pierce the p.a now before I back out. She was very helpful, informative and I could tell she didn't mind doing another piercing. She cleaned me up and before I knew it I felt her pushing a piercing tube in the pee hole. Ouch. That felt very uncomfortable. Next thing I knew she was asking me to breath and I felt a very quick and sharp pain in the head of my penis. The ring pushed through quickly and done. She asked if she could take some photos for her portfolio and I agreed. I couldn't believe it. It looked hot and wasn't all that painful. In a weird way it was more erotic. Very quickly after the photos though I started to bleed from the p.a and actually bleed a lot. I was slightly scared and she said it was normal. She cleaned me up, put gauze on me with rubber bands and gave me cleaning instructions. I tipped her, paid her, thanked her and told her I hoped to be back for more in the future. I'm still deciding on what to do next, but will for sure go to Brandy again. My compliments to her.
