I will describe living with and getting a scrotal ladder in this experience. I will attempt to include as many details as possible, about the process and decisions along the way. This note will not go into detail on the procedure, (pinch, ouch, done) it seems there are numerous other experiences describing that process. I will also describe what it is like living with the scrotal ladder. About the title, to the best of my knowledge, there is about 50 g of stainless steel in my scrotal sac.
At A Glance Author pascrotalguy Contact pascrotalguy@bme.anon When A year ago Artist Kevin Jump Studio Infinite Body Piercing Location Philadelphia, Pennsylvania I was always wondering why there were not many experiences written about a scrotal ladder project. I had a couple of other piercings done in the past, but they were one time piercings, and there were many experiences about them. But, there still seemed to be a dearth of scrotal ladder experiences. So one can either wait for some one else to write about it before doing it. Or maybe, since a scrotal ladder project is never done, no one writes about it. Or one can just do it and then write about it. I guess I'm done, for now, but there is plenty of room for more some day.
Anyway, a scrotal ladder project is not one trip to the body piercing shop, this ends up being many trips. Fortunately I have been able to have three to four done at a time. My favorite body piercing shop discounts the 2nd and subsequent piercing done at the same time, and also give you a frequent piercing card toward free piercings. What better reason to get more than one done at a time.
The actual piercing is very quick and pain is short lived. My piercer and I have the routine down. Just keep saying to yourself, I did volunteer for this, and paid money to experience pain. Typically the first one is a small prick, but by the fourth one your body is saying, "no thanks." I think you experience a bit more sensation with each subsequent needle during the piercing session. My limit is four at a time.
So anyway, this all started, when after some other piercing attempts, by professionals of course. I was given the blessing of my wife to get a PA and guiche. For those contemplating a guiche. A very interesting piercing session, along with very interesting sensations from that piercing. Never knew there was such sensitivity there. Anyway the one guiche looked lonely, so more and more got added over time to make a ladder to be the base of the cock. I'm finally up to twelve rings. One PA, an eleven ring scrotal ladder from a guiche to the base of the cock. My PA is 4 ga, which I think is quickly migrating to 2 ga. The mature parts of the ladder are 8 ga, and some of the new piercings are 10 ga, hopefully 8 ga soon. Eleven is not a lot, some other people have more, some others have less. I could fit it about two to three more on the main seam. From pictures I have notice, one ladder along the main seam is about 10 to 15 piercings depending on how big the sac is. I have also found the 8 ga to be very comfortable, the 10 ga rings seems to bite in and pinch, or in other words, they are not very comfortable. And then from the pictures, it seems one can get another 8 to 12 along the sides of the main seam. After a couple of months there is no problem upgrading the 10 ga to 8 ga. Just another trip to the shop. I would recommend just getting it done at 8 ga.
On the last round of piercings, I tried to be more conscious of what occurred on a day to day basis. This last round I got one at 8 ga, and three at 10 ga.
Day 1 – lots of bleeding- blood everywhere on the gauze, underwear, and pants. Basically a real big mess.
Day 2 – less blood.
End of 3rd day – No blood any more. The blood leakage cleaned up real quick, yea.
7 th day still tender, no blood.
End of Fourth week, they are no longer tender to the touch, and you can start to play with them.
End of Eight weeks. The 8 ga is fully healed, the 10 ga, due to their location, and with the PA ring hitting them, are still not full healed.
End of twelve weeks. Sometimes I would take out the PA ring during the day time. This helped the rest of the 10 ga rings to heal better. The PA ring would bang against the scrotal rings. Need 8 ga in there real soon now. That is another trip to the piercing shop.
At the four to six month time frame, they are fully healed, but like all piercings, they put out a little bit of white puss every once in a while. As the piercing matures this happens less and less. No need to leave the PA ring out. Have not had it out in over a month.
Healing time and crusties – Tends to have crusties at the end of the day. So cleaning it two times a day is very important, and reduces the healing time. Sometimes if I would not clean them at night, all night while trying to sleep one piercing out of the total, just would not get comfortable. If I clean them, not an issue. Cleaning - very important. Once healed, I just clean them when I take a shower.
Living with scrotal ladder – OK, so you have eleven steel rings in your scrotal sac. It does jingle while you walk around with loose/no clothes on. People can hear it, it sounds like car keys or loose change, the amount of noise depends on what kind of clothes you have on. So I have gotten more conscious about how I walk round. It does stretch out the sac. One does now know more of what his sac is doing than before. It does bounce around in a pleasant way when running and snow skiing, and it does require a bit more adjustment at times. I do have an office job, and sometimes, everything just does not sit right. During the weekend I'm usually on my feet all day working around the house, and there is never an issue.
Airport Security – I have not been stopped yet, they are all stainless steel, that helps. I even try to wear button front Levis sometimes, and I still don't get stopped.
I use to wear a ball stretcher. This ladder is like having a light weight ball stretcher on all the time.
A bit of trauma occurred to a couple of the rings while I was doing something around our house. It was like they got smashed inward, and tore some of the skin. It was not infected, but was bruised, and got real sore. It was back to the healing basics again for a couple of weeks, and it eventually cleared up, and everything is back to normal again.
People get genital piercings for two reason – Appearance and stimulation. Appearance – Aside from a few close friends and my wife, no one else knows about the ladder. Appearance – I think it looks pretty cool, and its like that is on me. Sometimes I think, why do I have all those rings in my sac – Oh, that because you wanted them. Then you touch them a little bit, oh, yes, that's why, I remember now. Stimulation – It bounces around during sex and jingles, and it does massage the sac, it is a nice welcomed addition. I'm happily married to my wife, and she enjoys the PA ring. The rest of the scrotal ladder is like having your balls and prostate massaged lightly while having sex. The best part is when my wife plays with the ladder, it is penis-erectus.
So in summary, this is at a multi-year commitment to getting it done. It's not a life time to keeping them, but after all this time and effort why would you take it out. One may be able to do it faster if they want to. I would highly recommend Infinite Body Piercing in the Philadelphia area, and Kevin in particular. Now, let's see, it looks like there is some room left for more.
