I have always been into piercings and tattoos. When I turned 18 I went and got some tattoos and a few months later I was ready for some piercings. Ears were never that big a deal to me. For my first piercings I wanted something special.

That shiny metal makes a big difference. I love the way they look and I know for a fact every girl friend I have had since I did them has found them very attractive.
I had 4 14g circular barbells and bought some needles from the local jewelry store. I was glad they sold that kind of stuff around here because I wanted to do it myself. It wasn't an issue of exposing myself to someone to stick a needle in me. Partly it was money and I was soon to find out I enjoyed it. Warning don't try this at home.
First I washed my hands. I got everything ready and laid out. Four rings, four pre packaged 14g needles, tube of Neosporin to lubricate every thing, a blue sharpie, a ruler, and plenty of paper towels. I had talked to some one with a nice ladder that I knew and he said doing them one apart and dividing a cm in half on the seam of my scrotum would space them right. I measured and marked wiping it away when I needed to until they were how I wanted them.
Finally the moment was at hand. I spread some Neosporin on the needle and the ring I had ready. Then I opened up one of the needles and pressed it to the mark on the right side while keeping my index finger on the other dot and pushing to that point. Taking it slow it hurt but it also kind of tickled. When I felt the needle poke my finger on the other side I moved my finger away and pushed it the rest of the way through. Looking down at what I had done I was very pleased.
Knowing I was only partly done and I had more to get to I moved on. Sliding the needle out it bled a little witch made the hole hard to find to slip the ring in. Staying calm I dabbed at it and when I could see clearly slid the ring in. Screwing the ball in I sighed with relief. The next three went much the same way except some bled more. I also noticed the farther I went down my scrotum the more sensitive and painful it was.
After I was done I felt very relieved for some reason. It wasn't exactly a pleasurable experience but it was like all my stress had gone away. Sometimes I just pierce them for that reason now not even for rings.
I have had such a positive experience from this that I have had other piercings done. I have tried frenums, a reverse PA, a regular PA that I plan on turning into an apadravya. All that were done by me. I'm not saying it is for everyone but it definitely worked out well for me.
Since I did this I have gotten more of a plan for my ladder. It gets bigger in gauge from top to bottom. Right now it is 14g,14g,12g and 6g at the bottom. I want for it to be 10g,12g,8g,6g, and 4g when I am done.
The 14g rings didn't provide much stimulation and they looked ok but the bigger gauge rings give me a lot of I guess you could describe it as tickling feeling. They are much more comfortable as well. Gauging was not very difficult either. I just lubed up the taper and pushed it in slow and steady. It got warm feeling and lymphed a little bit afterwards but I was very pleased with the results.
For after care I sea alt soaked about once a day. Now that they are all the way healed I just use some anti bacterial soap in the shower.
My final thoughts can be summed up easily. They look great. They feel great. It has led me to other piercings. Aesthetically I couldn't ask for anything better. If you are afraid of blood or can't stand inflicting pain on yourself I wouldn't suggest even trying to do this at home. If you can you can learn a lot about yourself. How you deal with pain and blood. It can also relieve a lot of stress.
