Some people may think I'm crazy, many people don't understand why I did it, and why I did it myself. I already had a self done hafada (read "Safety Pin Times"), streched lobes, streched cartilidge and navel. I decided it was time for something new, something for me, something that would make me feel more complete.

So i decided to look into a frenum piercing. I arrived here at BME and started my research, what it was supposed to look like, where is was supposed to go, and at this time I didn't even know what it was called, I had only seen picture of it. Once i decided upon what i wanted, I had to decied if I wanted to appempt to do another piercing myself, or if I wanted to get it professionally done. I had great confidence in myself and figured that I would be much more comfortable doing it myself as opposed to someone else holding/examining and jabbing my member.

It was time for serious research, I had the placement down, the depth and length. What I still wanted to do was consult my trusty medical book and make sure I wasn't going to hit any important veins/tubes that may affect performance currently or down the road. With the knowldge of where all the imporant veins were and with the comfort that I was not going to nick anything, it was time to begin.

As with my last self done piercing, I decided that I would use a safety pin (I know I know, not hygenic at all) because I didn't have the 14g needles nor the appropriate jewelry when I had the urge and courage do do the piercing. I lined up the small gauge pin where I had decided that I wanted it to go, got ready, took three deep breaths and proceeded to quickly push the pin through both sides and took yet another deep breath and it was over. That wasn't bad at all, no pain (well...almost no pain), but there was one problem, upon closer inspection, it didn't look very straight to me, it looked like that skin had moved a little at i put the pin through. (If you read my other article you will see I did the same thing). So i decided, hell it wasn't bad, let's do it again. So i went through the same procedure, cleaned everything and steralized everything again and redid the pierce, this one was a little more painful because the skin was already assulted and it was almost the same location, but I did it, and damn it looked good.

It looked so good that i decided that I could even handle another one slightly lower, creating a frenum ladder. So after I had this one in place and lined up, I did the same breathing and proceded to pierce it. It went well with no problems and it looked AMAZING, even with the two safety pins and not the actual jewelry. Now the purpose for using safety pins is that I had problems with putting in the jewelry right after the piercing, and safety pins you can close and leave in for a while during the initial healing process.

So i waited while, basically till I found jewelry that I liked, and when I did it was a curved and a straight 14g barbells, I decieded to get one of each so that if I ever wanted to got to a larger gauge I would know what would be more comfortable, straight or curved, but it has turned out to look better with one of each, the curved (top) barbell has smalled beads. With only the beeds showing on both barbells, it appears that there are 2 pairs of different sized beads showing out of the bottom of my shaft.

I waited 6 days till I changed from pins to jewelry, and then I decided that I just had to try out my new accessory, so I called up the girl that I have an "arrangement" with and told her of my new toys, she loved the idea of it. So one day (about 10 days after I did the original piercing) I used my new tool, and it made a difference, she was able to tell that the barbells were there, and she liked them.

Since I did it, many people have wondered what I was thinking when I did it, why I did it and what's wrong with me, other people are very interested in it....ah well...to each their own right....I have had no problems with either piercing, they have both healed excellently and I have had absolutly no problems with it, and the girl whom which I have the arrangement has said that she doesn't think she could ever go back to the normal, unacessorized me...or anyone for that matter.

All in all it was a good experience and I love my little toys. To anyone thinking of doing a frenum, I would recomend it, it's fun, it's personal, and it can provide pleasure, anything to help, I'm not going to complain. It's mine and I love it.
