Australian Self Piercing Experiences 3 |

Well it must be time to write some more about my piercing history!!
As I explained in Australian self piercing experiences 2, (PA section), I turned my attention to my scrotum. Having had two piercings through the front of my scrotum that had previously rejected, I thought that having proper 14 gauge surgical steel ball enclosure rings would do the job. Once again, late one night, I got the agricultural needle that I had used to do my PA, boiled it to get rid of any nasties, and got ready to pierce the front of my ball sac once again.
The scars from the previous attempt had completely disappeared, so I got the skin not far from the base of my penis, lined up the needle nice and straight, and pushed it through. I went a bit deeper than I had on the previous occasions...pulling the skin tight first to check that I wasn't going through any blood vessels or anything that I shouldn't be. It didn't hurt much at all, just some stinging but that was about it. I got one of my ball enclosure rings and followed the needle through.
Seeing as that was so easy, I thought I would straight away do the next piercing, so I once again got some scrotal skin....this time a little further down my balls and repeated the process. Once again it didn't hurt too much so I thought I'd go for a third...this time higher up on my dick.
The skin on my dick was much thinner, but I went through the same process...about half way up, in line for a scrotal ladder. So...after the whole process was complete...I was pretty pleased. I now had my left nipple pierced, as well as my frenum, a PA, and three piercings making the beginnings of a scrotal ladder.
Well, it wasn't very long before the ring that was in the skin of my dick started to reject. It was only a matter of weeks and I could already see it migrating out. It was a real shame. The other two new piercings had formed hard red lumps around them, and constantly weeped. I put up with it for a while, but I could see a scar forming on the highest one where it was migrating out. The skin on my dick that the piercing was going through was getting thinner and thinner so eventually I decided to take the ring out before it completely migrated out.
I left the other two piercings in my scrotum for about 9 months but still they would not get better. My wife didn't like them either...so... what with her complaining about them, the weeping red lumps not getting any better, and them constantly being a little painful, I finally took the rings out. Within just a few weeks the lumps were completely gone and they were completely healed up. What a crying shame!! The only thing I've got left to show for those piercings is a small scar on the underside of my dick where the highest ring was migrating..there are no scars on my balls at all.
So now I was back to three piercings. Well about a year since I had taken out my navel piercing, I decided that I would once again pierce it. I thought that perhaps the reason that it had not healed properly last time was because because I had had a ring in it, and after reading on BME that a barbell would be better for the healing process, I bought a mini barbell. This time I used the agricultural needle to pierce my navel. I went a bit deeper this time, piercing from inside my navel up through the skin above it, and I tried to put a bit of a curve into the piercing as well. It's pretty hard to concentrate though when every time you push on the needle it hurts! Luckily as the needle is quite a large gauge the barbell followed it through easily.
I had done this in the afternoon and had done the barbell up securely or so had thought. That night we went out to a friends place for dinner, and when we got home I discovered that the top securing ball of the barbell was gone! The next day I went to the body piercing shop again and bought another threaded ball, (they're not cheap either!), but lone behold, the piercing sight had swelled a bit so that the minibarbell was now too short to go through and come out the other side. ( I had temporarily put a ball enclosure ring in to keep it open.)
I was not going to give in easily this time, so I kept the ball enclosure ring in it for a few months. It still didn't heal, but as I have read that it sometimes takes over a year to heal navels, I persevered. The swelling seemed to have gone down, even though it was still weeping a fair bit..so once again I tried the minibarbell. Well it went through and I did it up nice and tight...and ever since then it's been healing...slowly. That was about a year and a half ago, and still it's not properly healed. I can't take it out for any length of time without it immediately starting to heal over. I keep it in, in the hope that one day it will be a proper healed piercing with no redness!
Anyway now I had 4 piercings and I really wanted an odd number...so I decided to get a + nipple. As I said I already had a healed horizontal piercing through my left nipple, and I had seen photos of + nipples that looked rather appealing..but I remembered how much that first horizontal piercing had hurt!!
I think I'll continue on with my piercing history next time, or I'll have nothing left to write about to continue my membership!! I hope this is enough for now.
Thanks again Shannon...I'm looking forward to getting back in......it's the best site!!!
All the best,
Julian
