FRENUM LADDER AT MODERN AMERICAN BODYARTS

I had been thinking for quite some time about getting a frenum to go with my other piercings. Like many people, my work does not permit me to wear anything visible, but under clothes, anything goes! I particularly liked the idea of the frenum with a loop attached to it. I decided to take a look around BME to see exactly what I liked and who I wanted to do it. I clicked on to Modern American Bodyarts which is located in New York. I liked what I read and I liked what the owner, Keith Alexander had to say in his comments on piercings. I continued to read and really liked the appearance of the shop and all the information that was provided on the Internet. I started reading the experiences of others who had posted on BME and who explained about frenums and related genital piercings. I noticed several that were done at Modern American and all were very favorable.

I decided to give Keith a call. I don't live in New York, but close enough that it is a good weekend trip. After doing all the reading on BME, I had decided that I wanted something more substantial than just a frenum. I wanted the whole frenum ladder. I told Keith what I was interested in and we started talking numbers of barbells that he would use, somewhere around seven for the whole ladder. I made arrangements to send a deposit for the jewelry and to set up an appointment. Some piercers only like to do part of a frenum ladder at a time, but Keith said that we could do the whole thing, more than likely. I made an appointment and must admit that I was pretty excited about this new transformation. Unfortunately, I had to work on the designated day, so I called Keith and he couldn't have been nicer. He said to call him when I could make it. It took about another month before I could get the time off to go, but finally I made it. I called Keith and told him when I could be there and he said to come ahead that the whole procedure would not take too long. Modern American is easy to get to. I took the subway out and Modern American is just about a two block walk from the stop. Within about an hour, I was walking toward Modern American.

When I got there, I met Keith and he proceeded to get everything ready. Keith was very nice and friendly and I felt good from the beginning about the selections that I had made. The shop is ultra clean with nice music ongoing. Admittedly, I was pretty nervous about getting multiple piercings in my penis, but I was determined. Actually, I was also very excited about what my dick would look like in just a short period of time. The piercing area is very comfortable. I took off my clothes and hopped into the chair. During this time, Keith was explaining to me the procedure and reassuring me that it would go well. By this time, I felt pretty good. Keith took about 15 minutes to do the measuring. We decided that I would go with eight, ten gauge barbells. This seems like a lot, but I wanted a complete ladder. Keith continued to measure and to mark the positions of each barbell. I must admit that I was very excited about what was about to happen. He began by lining up each barbell with my Prince Albert. We decided that I would eventually want a loop around the first barbell, so it was very important to position this correctly. The loop will attach to either side of the barbell and I can then flip it around the head of my dick. That will come later!

During this entire time, Keith was a stickler for cleanliness. He washed his hands several times and used a ton of rubber gloves. That part did not go unnoticed by me and I really appreciated it. Finally, he said that all the markings were done. The piercings would be relatively close together, but that is what I wanted. He said that I would have room for another one or two, but I decided to have the first eight done and then see how it looked. Also, I wasn't even sure if I could make it that far. Toward the beginning of the first pierce, I asked Keith if he could tell me how much it would hurt. He said that while everyone was different, he could assure me it would be much less than I would expect. I said ok, let's go. Keith positioned the clamps on the first piercing at the top of my penis, just below the head on the underside. He told me to take a deep breath and that when I exhaled, he would push the needle through.. I quickly psyched myself, took a very deep breath, exhaled and it was done. I felt a quick sharp sensation, but Keith was right, it was nothing compared to what most people, myself included, would think. I knew immediately that I would be able to do the whole ladder with no problem. Keith then put the first barbell in and the first jewelry was done. We proceeded on to the next piercing. Same procedure, quick piercing, minimal discomfort. The whole process moved quickly with little, if any, blood. Along about the fifth frenum, Keith told me I would experience some bruising due to the clamps, but that this was normal and not to worry. Before I knew what had happened, Keith had finished eight 10 gauge barbells down the underside of my penis. He told me we could easily do one more if I wanted, but to check it out first. I had delibertely not looked much during the procedure as I wanted to get the full effect. I got up and went to the full length mirror. I was amazed and loved my new frenum ladder from first sight. Keith had lined up the barbells perfectly and the distance between each was also perfect. The frenum ladder was great. At first, I just couldn't believe that it was on me. I continued to look and Keith was right - there was a small space left at the base of my dick going to my balls. I decided to get one more in this space, so I hopped back up and Keith measured for the ninth and final barbell. Same procedure and then it was complete. What a high! Keith gave me all the after care instructions and asked if I was all right. I assured him that I was and I proceed to get dressed. Within a short period of time, I was walking back to the subway with a 9 barbell frenum ladder. I was in no pain and felt no discomfort. I have been careful and followed the instructions, but I have had no problems and the healing process is well under way. I had a little discharge the first couple of days, but nothing major. The bruising disappeared almost completely by the third or fourth day. I continue to follow the instructions and wash the piercings with an anti- bacterial soap. The total healing time is 2 to 4 months which is not bad. I can truthfully say that this fulfilled a long-time goal of mine and was a great experience. I can highly recommend Keith Alexander at Modern American Bodyarts for piercings of all types. I'm not sure what is next for me, but I know that it will be something good and I know that I will go back to Modern American.

Alex.
