Three Lorums, Two Scrotums, and No More Guiches!
Hello again! It has been a while since my first piercings and as stated in my last experience (Scrotum and Guiche @ Bodyworks), this bodmod thing has become addicting.About three months ago (six months after the initial piercing) the two guiches that I had started to give me trouble. They would not allow themselves to be forgotten and always seemed to make me sit, walk, and anything else uncomfortably. I tried sea salting them (recommended by my piercer) and kept the area clean hoping this would tame their behavior, but to no avail. They had to be removed. Which was disappointing because I really liked them both visually and erotically. I have this strange need to have a lot of genital steel and this just set me back. *big frown*
Some now educated advice for anyone considering the guiche as your pierce: If you are athletic and tend to be more "humid" in the general area of the inseam, this may not be the one for you. If you don't have the patience to baby the piercing 24 / 7, this may not be the right one for you. But, keep in mind you may take to it differently then I did. They started to give me trouble when the summer heat arrived, during the cold months they were very timid.
So my pursuit for stainless steel had a minor setback, but I was determined to succeed. I, of course, did more research at BME and decided that maybe the lorums would be a nice addition to my lonely remaining scrotum. My scrotum is now stretched to 6 gauge 1/2" captive bead and I love it. Very minimal (besides once a day antibacterial wash) care is needed to keep this one happy and under control. Plus, as an added bonus, the scrotum pierce was the least painful. Actually it didn't hurt at all! I finally decided to get two lorums. I marked the horizontal lines at the base of my shaft, so my piercer would know exactly where I wanted them placed. He erased my markings and copied his on top and then when I was ready, one....two....three...in they went. I experienced only a minor burning sensation and then it subsided to really nothing. I got two that day, both 10 gauge 5/8" barbells that after about 2 months of healing they shrunk down to 1/2 inch. Both of these piercings are now 8 gauge, one 1/2" barbell and the other 1/2" captive bead SS. I love them as well. I get allot of pleasure from them and my wife...well my wife insists that she doesn't feel them. Which could be a result of them being at the base and the logistics of sex. Which I guess is better then her saying no sex because they hurt her. Within the week (after UPS gets a new contract, and start delivering packages again) I will be purchasing another 6 gauge 1/2" captive bead and a 6 gauge 1/2" barbell to stretch those two into.
Update:
About two-three months ago I got a frenum, about circumsition level, and let me tell you it hurt like hell. I am guessing it has to do with the increase in sensitivity near the glans because the lorums felt nothing near this bad when done. I ended up loosing the piercing when a ball came unscrewed. I realized it long after, too late to effectively do anything about it. I was really pissed off and tried to force in a 12 gauge 5/8" fixed bead.....I got it in, but it was the most grueling, painful hour of my life. It stayed painful for a week, and finally I decided to take it out and let it heal. Oh well! Which brings me to the point...it healed over nicely and is very unnoticeable! So if you are thinking about the frenum or lorum piercing and decide it isn't right for you, you shouldn't have too much of a problem with it healing over. Depending on how long it has been in.
It has been my experience that you really don't know the usefulness of these particular types of piercings until they toughen up. For me it took about two months till I fully enjoyed them without any left over soreness.
Update:
Two weeks ago, I went to Bodywork Productions and got another lorum-now totaling three, and another scrotum-now totaling two. Both were done 10 gauge. The lorum was done with jewelry that I already owned and the scrotum with a 5/8" captive hematite bead.
Soon (maybe within the next month) I will stretch to 8 gauge using what I already own. See how this gets started, you can't let the jewelry collect dust! It must have a use!
I am working on a scrotum ladder, they are all centralized and run in a vertical row. I am thinking maybe three of four should do it. And maybe one more mid-lorum. But that maychange!
If I can be of any help, feel free to email me!
Until next time,
