When It just happened
For quite a while I've been thinking that my scrotal piercings should be more balanced. I've got one central and one on the left of my ball sack with quite large barbells. Now seemed to be a good time to even things up. I needed a decent sized barbell on the right and a substantial piercing would be necessary. I'd tried to do one on the right before but had only made a hole through the surface skin. The left piercing has a half inch diameter bar with one inch balls so I had to make a serious effort this time! My piercings have never been done professionally so I'm always careful to use clean instruments and antibiotic creams. Here's how it went.

With a good pinch of skin between thumb and forefinger I squeezed hard before pushing through a large size safety-pin. I was surprised how easy it was, just a little prick as it went through the surface and another as it came out the other side. There was very little sensation as it passed through the deeper layers though it was quite hard to complete because I think the inner layers are quite dense. The process had started and there was no blood! I had made a good start so relaxed for a few minutes and then checked whether it seemed to be in the right place. Dammit, it wasn't far enough down the sack. I pulled it out easily and there was just a tiny spot of blood. OK. Try Again.

Another pinch of skin and I again pushed the point of the safety-pin through. The sensation was no different and when I checked it seemed in the right place. Good! After a few minutes and double checking the position I started pushing the pin backwards and forwards to ease the hole. A spare 3/8 inch barbell was going to be put into the piercing so much more work was needed. I took three more safety pins and carefully pushed them through one by one guiding them along the first pin shaft. It's quite hard to grip the rounded end of a safety- pin so it took a bit of effort, especially with the second and third one. They didn't all come out in exactly the same place as it is hard to keep the point exactly alongside the original but they were near enough. The fourth was easy as it went through between the others. With four big safety pins in place the piercing was surprisingly comfortable. I was using an antibiotic cream with topical anaesthetic so that probably helped. When I held all the pins together and pulled them away from my cock I confirmed the positioning was OK. So far so good!

Now for the real stretching. The hole would have to be just more than 3/8 inch to get the barbell through! Firstly I aimed a 1/8 inch stretching bar through the middle between the four pins and forced it through. It's surprising that there was no real discomfort although I had to push quite hard. Some watery blood started seeping out around the pins but that was easily absorbed by placing paper towels around the work area. (Paper towels are stronger than tissues and don't fall apart when damp with blood.)

Things were going well and with very little trouble a 3/16 shaft followed the 1/8 inch one through fairly easily. That was definitely still not big enough so more stretching needed. I pushed the 1/8 through beside the 3/16 and then both of them were replaced by a 5/16 rod. Just 1/16 inch to go! The four pins were still through the piercing as well as the 5/16 rod so it was very nearly big enough.

To make sure that I could get the barbell through I took out all but one safety-pin and pushed the 1/8 inch rod through so that made a total diameter 1/16 inch larger than the barbell.

Pushing the barbell up towards me was important so that I could see its progress. I butted the barbell against the two rods and pushed, hoping it would come through - but it's not that easy. The rods fell out! Damn! The barbell was only just visible through some soft red tissue. Perhaps I should have made the hole even bigger! But one safety-pin was still in and so I worked it round the perimeter of the barbell shaft and after a wriggles, the barbell was free. Success! I quickly screwed the free ball into the bar and felt quite pleased.

My hands were wet with a little blood but there was no flow and very little around the site. After swabbing the area with some disinfectant I stood up and looked in the mirror. The left and right side barbells looked quite balanced and now it's going to be a few weeks for the piercing to heal. Only then will I be sure the aim has been achieved.
