Already having a frenum piercing and a Prince Albert, I decided to go a bit lower and go for a scrotal ladder. I'd always liked the look of these in the BME galleries, and figured what the hell – might as well decorate the sack as well as my old man.

I like the professionalism and service they offer, so can't imagine going anywhere else.
The appointment was for the 3rd February, which gave my frenum piercing time to heal – important as I was starting off with 3 BCR's on the scrotum.
So on the 3rd February I finished work and drove into Worthing, parking up nearby to the studio. Another big plus point for Flux, is that there's ample parking nearby – makes no difference to the piercing, but with genital piercings you don't always want to walk miles back to your car.
I walked the short distance to the studio, and got warmly greeted by Claire, the piercer. There's always a nice friendly atmosphere, which puts you at ease straight away.
Anyway, after signing the forms (again), saying I wasn't on drugs etc., I went through to the piercing room with Claire.
After getting myself ready, i.e. dropping the trousers, I lay back on the couch as Claire prepared the needles and rings.
A word of advice to anyone considering getting a scrotal piercing, and that's to shave the area first – I keep mine shaved back anyway, but bear in mind that the piercer's got to mark the area, and that won't be easy with hair in the way.
Back to the piercing, and Claire first asked how I'd like the rings arranged, either a straight row of 3, or having the rings overlapping. She demonstrated how each arrangement looked on her gloved hand, and I decided to go for the overlapping arrangement. (Gives me more space if I decide to add to the ladder later).
The area was first cleaned, and then Claire marked up where the piercings would go, explaining that they'd follow the central line down the middle of the scrotum. It took a few minutes until Claire was happy with the markings, and it can't have been easy to measure – it was bloody cold outside, so the sack wasn't its usual self.
Claire put fresh gloves on, and the clamp was placed on the first piercing area. I'd thought the clamp might pinch down there, but I was pleasantly surprised – no discomfort at all.
As with my other piercings, Claire told me to breath deeply, and on the 3rd breath out she'd do the piercing, so 1, 2, 3 and the needle went through. No real pain on the piercing, just a slight prick as the needle went through, but I guess the sack's only thin skin so it's a very quick piercing.
The ring was added and the first piercing was finished.
Same procedure for number 2, deep breaths in and out, needle through and done, then finally number 3 and I had my scrotal ladder.
As with my other piercings, Claire advised me to lie down for a couple of minutes, just to make sure I was okay.
A couple of minutes passed, and I got my first proper look at them in the mirror – I'd seen them while I was lying down, but they looked much better when I was standing. I couldn't get over how evenly they were spaced, another great piercing job by Claire.
As I made myself presentable, Claire gave me some tissue to place around the scrotum, in case it bled on the way home.
Back into the main shop, and I paid for the piercing and got some more Provon as well – a medicated soap that Flux provide in their aftercare package. I've found this has helped the healing considerably, and although you get given Provon for the aftercare, I wanted a bigger bottle so I could keep my other piercings clean as well.
Before I left I made an appointment for my next piercings, which will be for my ear – my first above neck piercing so looking forward to it.
After getting home, I checked the piercing, and was glad Claire had recommended the tissue, as the piercings had bled quite freely. The bleeding continued on and off for about 3 days, but after reading some other scrotal experiences, I'd thought ahead and got some large Melonin non stick dressing pads.
I guess the piercings bled because that part of your body's always in motion, but I'd recommend buying some gauze or non stick pads before you get your scrotum pierced – just in case. You might not bleed at all, as everyones piercing experience is different, but better to be prepared.
Bleeding aside (which I'd expected anyway), the piercings have been trouble free. As with any new piercing, it took a few days to get used to the feel of them, but now after nearly 8 weeks they feel like they've been in forever.
I'll probably have them stretched, but I'll wait a few months to make sure they're fully healed first.
To anyone thinking of this piercing, just go for it – it certainly makes the scrotum look better, as well as being an easy piercing to care for.
