Well I am twenty now, and I've been into piercings for a pretty good while now. I have always thought they looked great. I remember piercing my own ear when i was in elementary school. As soon as I turned 18 I finally could get the metal I wanted for so long. I've had 2 eyebrow rings, 2 tongue rings (I want a third), 2 madisons, nipples, lip, all over the ears... but I never got the nether regions taken care of. I have always thought about getting something down there done, but I never really knew what I wanted, and there was something about that area of my body that I sort of wanted to keep pure and untouched... until recently.

My face had pretty much reached the limit for the amount of metal in it as far as i was concerned... especially now that i have to start looking for an internship. Over time I have been slowly removing some of my piercings, either from them rejecting, getting bored with them, or just favors to my parents. The only things I have done now are the two in my tongue, and the one in my lip, and my nipples. I had been feeling like something has been missing for a while now, but I don't want to pierce again something that I have already had... Every time I want to to be some totally new experience... and I was running out of places. I have always THOUGHT about getting my scrotum pierced, but never had the balls to do it. (pun). Well the itch finally hit again.. I needed another piercing. And scrotum was on the top of the list this time.
I do a lot of my own work, I apprenticed at a shop two summers ago and learned a good bit about piercing. So i got all my supplies ready and set out. I sat on the floor and measured and mapped out my scrotum, which is very hard to do with only two hands. Once I finally decided to turn my scrotum into a project for me to do, I decided I wanted a ladder going down the back side consisting of two barbells and one ring... its not too much, not too few, and looks fantastic.
The needles went through with no problems and there was very little blood that came out. Now again, I have had a few piercings, and they have almost all felt good, but this one was different. Don't get me wrong, this one felt good, but it was a different kind of good. Most piercings that I have had come with a sense of pain, that somehow feels good in the sense that I can control my body... and that mixed with the adrinaline gives quite the addicting feeling. My ladder was different though, feeling the needle slide through my skin had that sweet familiarity to it, but this time it was mixed with an erotic stimulation that I have never felt with any of my other piercings. With asthetics aside, just the feeling of the piercing itself could be enough to keep me coming back to add on to my ladder. And even better, my new rings LOOK as good as they FELT. Oh, right, back to the actual process... The trickiest part I found was trying to screw the balls on the end of the barbells when you have no one to hold up your ballsac and your fingers are still shaking from the adrinaline. But all three were successful and strait. I only did them a week ago, but I have had no problems with them yet. They were pretty tender the first two days, but after that, the feeling of them between your legs is great. I can feel my ring dangle and tap my balls when I walk, and when I sit down anywhere I can feel the whole set of metallic items in my skin.
Now this was interesting, a couple days after doing my ladder, I had quite a party at my apartment and the next day as I was cleaning my kitchen floor, I found a small barbell that looked just like the ones in my scrotum... after a little bit of investigating, I found that it was the very one that once rested in my nethers. I was a little nervous about repiercing the hole so soon after they were done, but then again, it looked way too good for me not to do it. I repierced myself and again, no complications.. but i made sure everything was on TIGHT this time.
So things with my new three ringed ladder are going great, and this is a piercing that I would STRONGLY recommend getting done... even to someone who hasnt even thought of doing it. And I know it has crossed your mind or you wouldn't have read this.
