I noticed a teacher's ears where noticeable stretched and the holes where large, I am sure (at least I think) this was not intentional just a consequence from years of wearing heavy earrings. I knew I wanted my own piercings, I pierced my ear but never let anyone see me with an earring, back in 1977 a 12 or 13 year old boy with a pierced ear would be ridiculed. I kept the hole hidden with long hair. Overtime I pierced my tragus, nostril, nipple, re-pierced my ear many times, once I went so far to pierce my ear about ten times from the lobe up to the cartilage. All of these had to be temporary I wanted something I could keep.
Not having anything at all like BME to get ideas from it struck me I could pierce my scrotum right at the base of my penis. Once this occurred to me I had to go for it.
All piecing I had seen had been done with a gun I had no idea how bad they where at the time. Well not having access to a piercing gun or knowing about piercing needles I taped a thumb tack onto one side of pliers and cleaned everything as best I could. Into the bathroom and after a long slow squeeze the hole was there, now I had to thread in the only jewelry I had which was a cheep gold hoop, getting this in was more painful then the piercing itself.
Because the hoop itself was made for 'normal' thin piercings it had an 18 gauge wire in-between the approximately 14 gauge hoop. This spot where the thin wire met the hoop kept rubbing at the piercing not every letting it heal properly.
This lasted for a while before it rejected I was bummed out. I did the same thing again and again it rejected, at that point I gave up.
OBVIOUS STATEMENT: I do not recommend using a thumbtack and pliers on your scrotum.
In 1991 I met the love of my life, we are a great match and I could share all my 'strangeness' with her. She was not into body piercing other than her ears. As time went on she decided she wanted to be different she decided to get her nipples and navel done.
In 1992 it was tough to find a shop to do it, we eventually found Julie Moon's Tattoo shop in NH, her son was doing piercings. He turned out to be very professional he got the nipples done perfectly. Since then she has also got her tongue done
Flash forward to present, my wife has pieced ears, navel, nipples and tongue which makes me a very happy man but the old urges have come back. I decided I must get my own piecing and this time I decided to go the professional route.
Luckily now there is a piercing shop near me, last night I called and asked them if they could do a scrotal piercing they said no problem.
I showed up at the shop and met Marria I was more than a little embarrassed to talk to a women about this but she quickly made me feel comfortable with her knowledge of scrotal piercings and piecing in general.
She went over everything and I listened to her suggestions, as much as she did not have her own scrotum she has poked holes in more than a few.
Once I chose the jewelry an apprentice laid out the tools and the time had come.

In normal circumstances this would not be embarrassing, now with my cock and balls trying there best to hide inside my abdomen it was a not a thrill to do so.
She cleaned me up, talked with the apprentice about proper placement and technique, then she worked on marking the placement. Once she had it marked she gave me a mirror to check it out.
Time to clamp it up I expected this to hurt but it did not, the piecing itself went as you have read many times here, a little pain just a quick pinch of the needed then she installed the CBR. All of a sudden I had a properly placed 12 gauge CBR in my scrotum, it was at this point my cock and balls decided they could come out of hiding. The pain stopped as soon as the needle work was done and now 24 hours latter still no real pain just the slightest ache.
It is placed nice and deep which is what I wanted, I plan on stretching this to some yet undecided size,
I am very happy with it and will surly go back once it is healed for something else, maybe a PA.
Strange how peoples brains are wired, I have no idea why I find piercings erotic, I only know I was like that from earliest puberty.
