So I have always thought I could never get a genital piercing mainly because of the pain and with a PA I would be scarred of having a piss or sex and whatever but I thought a scrotal piercing would be the less hardcore thing to do but as close as I could get to a hardcore genital piercing!

I was planning on going back to Tamworth to visit a few friends and go in Nala, my usual piercing shop. I thought I would maybe get a snug piercing but I also wanted to ask them about piercing my nape and a scrotum piercing, just the general questions like "will it be very painful", "how long do you have to wait for sex afterwards" etc...
After discussing the scrotal piercing with Chris who looks after the front counter I decided to have it done. I could of gone for 2 Hafada's for £50 but because I have never had one done and did not know if I could handle it I stuck with the one. Obviously I was hesitating for a while so he told me that it would not hurt much and the healing time is pretty fast. Dawn, who would be piercing me, said it would be a cool piercing to have as not many are done and Annette who owns Nala also said it would be a good piercing to go through with. I plucked up my courage and just though "fuck it" so I filled out a form and after about a 5 minute wait, it was my turn.
The procedure
Now this is the point that I always get worried. To add to the nervousness I also had to stand with my boxer shorts down in front of Dawn while she measured and marked my piercing up! I had read a few experiences on BME and nobody seems to mention the fact of getting naked to have your genitals pierced can be embarrassing, so I guess I will talk about this too! I was a bit hesitant at taking my boxers down and Dawn laughed, I then told her that this piercing was a spur of the moment thing and because I had rushed out this morning I did not have a shower. Dawn laughed and told me I could of a least had a shower!
Anyway, she marked me up and asked me if this was ok, I sort of looked down real quick and just said "yes", not really paying any attention because a) I felt a bit stupid being half naked and b) I wanted to get this thing over with. I pulled my boxers up to get on the bed and Dawn told me how funny this was because she had already saw me now and I was still covering up to get on the bed. I took my boxers down again and tried to relax while Dawn placed the clamp on the area. There was no cream to put on me so I had to have the normal spray which I was not to bothered about. Dawn then told me to take a deep breath and hold, I took a deep breath...and released. I totally forgot, she told me to take another deep breath and hold. I took a deep breath and I felt the needle go through. I have to say it really was not that bad. I am normally real bad when it comes to needles but this did not bother me. I took a look and I did not feel faint either! I was thinking to myself "this is pr etty hardcore, I have a genital piercing". Dawn told me to pull my boxer shorts up while she left the room to get the things to open up rings so she could get the ball in easier.
When she returned she put the ball in place and we talked for a bit then I got up and went to pay. Chris said "I told you it was alright" I got some provon aftercare solution and then I left.
After the first piercing.
That night my piercing did not ache at all. I showed virtually all of my friends, some of them were amazed that I had gone through with it, while others were pretty sickened that I flopped my balls in their face. I told them about the deal of 2 for £50 and most of them said it would look pretty good if I had 2 done. All night I thought about how much it did not hurt and that another would only have cost £20 more. I thought about getting a second one done all that night.
The second Hafada
I woke up today (28/5/03) and decided I would go back in Nala and ask about a second Hafada. I waited for Dawn to finish a piercing then I told her I wanted another Hafada done. She said it would be fine and she could do it straight away. Dawn advised that as well as using the after care solution that I should go to a near by shop and buy some Zinc tablets because they help to heal the body faster when having multiple piercings. I asked her if she would still let me have the deal of 2 for £50 and she told me that would be fine. I waited a few minutes while she changed a tongue bar for somebody then I went in.
When I got in the room I was a little more relaxed than yesterday but still felt a little strange about dropping my trousers! Dawn told me to stop being so shy as she had already seen everything by now! Once again the same procedure, drop pants and hold "him" up straight then mark. Dawn made a few marks but I kept telling her to go higher as I wanted this one just under my first. When I was happy with the placing I lay down and prepared myself for the second Hafada in two days. I told Dawn to keep talking to me (I like it when people talk because it takes my mind off what is happening). Dawn talked to me while I felt the spray then in went the needle "ouch" this time the piercing hurt a lot more than the previous. Dawn explained that it had been done on thicker skin this time. I took a look and I was happy with the result. Once again Dawn went to fetch the plier-type things to open up the ring enough to get a ball in place. I told Dawn that I would get some Zinc tablets and she told me now I had 2 Hafads I should come back for a third as she thinks it would look better than 2. "No, just 2 will be fine" I said.
Final words
Well I must admit, I am not normally one to say I piercing was pretty easy but this piercing really was not that bad. No aching after and pretty much no blood. East enough to clean and it looks pretty cool. It is also funny to show people your newly pierced "sac" and see the look on their face. Well I am happy I got it done and there is no way I would of gone anywhere other than Nala. Go to a place you can trust especially when it comes to getting your genitals pierced because there are some things you just do not want to get infected!
