I'd been thinking about getting a genital piercing for about 4 or 5 months, but I wasn't sure what to get. The idea of getting a Prince Albert kind of scared me, I wanted something less extreme. Finally I decided to get a hafada through the skin just on the base of my shaft.
At A Glance Author Bryan Contact Bryan@bme.anon When A month ago Artist Matt Studio Divine Location Edmonton Unfortunelty where I live there isn't a place to get genital piercings done, so I took some time off work and drove down to Edmonton to get it done. I went to Divine on Whyte ave. and everyone there was great. I made an appointment for later in the day. I was told to eat a lot before I came; so right before my appointment I had a meal.
When my appointment came I was really nervous, not so much because of the pain (I knew it wouldn't really hurt), but because some guy I didn't know was going to be handling my penis. My piercer, Matt was great and made me a lot less nervous. He was very friendly and professional, but was quite humorous as well.
Matt went about getting all his tools done and made some small talk, we talked about his teddy bear on shoes and other meaningless tripe, but it made me much more comfortable. He asked me some questions, like had I ever got a genital piercing before (I hadn't), and he told me it wouldn't hurt very much. When everything was ready he asked me to take off my pants a lie down, which I did.
My penis was the smallest I'd ever seen it before because I was so nervous, but I didn't worry about it cause I figured it happened to most people before they got a genital piercing. Matt examined my penis for a good place to put the piercing, every once and a while telling me he was trying to play with it as little as possible. He made a mark on my penis and asked if it was a good place, and I agreed.
Matt then put the clamps on my skin, telling me again he was trying to play with it as little as possible and told me to breathe in on 1 out on two, in on three, out on four and then he'd pierce me. So I did as I was told and he on 4 he pushed the needle in and I felt a sharp pain, but it was definitly bearable, a lot less painful then my labret, or my tongue. Then he pushed in the captive bead ring. He told me he was done. I got up and looked at, and it looked good.
Then we went over the aftercare procedure, which involved rinsing with saline, cleaning out the crustys, etc. Matt said that it tended to heal fast due to the fact it wasn't the kind of piercing you'd whip out and play with on the bus. I bought some saline solution from the people at Divine, to clean my piecings, and then I went on my merry way.
I learned something important later, do not drove for five hors after getting your dick pierced, it is very uncomfortable. The drive home from Edmonton was not very fun at all. When I got home there was a bit of blood on my penis but not much, I cleaned it off and then went to the bar for some fun.
The next day I managed to freak out most of the people at work by telling them my penis was pierced. Everyone was surprised, the guy I worked with questioned my about it all night. When people ask why I like to say, "I did it to align my internal and external body images", which just confuses most people. When I told my parents they where very surprised, but didn't really care, they are pretty cool about all my piercings.
When a masturbated for the first time after the piercing I saw how great it really looked, that little circular piece of metal contrasting against the big straight flesh of my penis was simply amazing, it made the ring look tiny and my penis look bigger, of course masturbating felt no different, but I do feel sexy with a piece of metal in my dick.
Cleaning has been a piece of cake and it's almost completely healed after only two weeks. I've gotten very little amounts of crustys and no blood after the first days. I love my piecing and am very attached to it (literally and figuratively).
Now I have plans to get a Prince Albert two weeks from now (To think the thought of a Prince Albert used to scare me), at Divine, because they did such a great job, I hope it turns out as well as my hafada.
