Let me tell you about my feeble attempt at genital piercing. First of all your genitals are special things... so unless you absolutely know what you're doing, do NOT attempt to shove a needle into them. They're complex etc. And while they DO rule, they also DO hurt when you accidentally hit your Vas Defranse (the cords that connect to your nuts) while trying to get through your own sack.

I'm sure it's been done before, but I hadn't ever seen the area at the base of the penis between where the shaft starts and the scrotum begins pierced, so I was hoping that I'd be breaking new ground.
Assuming that I knew the biology of a nut-sack, which was a big mistake, and that I could succesfully get a 10 gauge needle through it without hurting anything, I went out and bought a needle, and a barbell (i figured it'd go through the hole easier than anything curved. I still dont know if this was true. Could've been harder?).
I got home, swabbed up the skin, dis infected the needle, prayed to god not to screw stuff up, grabbed a piece of skin, and JAMMED the needle through. It went through relatively easy. though I didn't really expect scrotum skin to be tough to pierce. Especially not after the shower I took to loosen up my skin.
Surprisingly, it didn't hurt that much. It bled a bit, but I expected that. It also stung a bit, but I was more afraid of taking the needle out and then not being able to find either the entrance hole or the exit hole. So me being dumb decided to put two O-rings on either side of the needle, and just wander around bare-assed for a while. Dont worry, I capped off the needle so I wouldn't prick anything important.
Several hours later, I figured my parents would be coming home soon, and it was time to wrap this procedure up. Shaking tremendously, I was scared out of my mind that I'd fuck something up, and all this trouble would be for naught. I slid one of the O-rings off, put one end of the barbell onto the open end of the needle. I slid it through, and, in the middle of my nut-sack, oops, the barbell and the needle disconnected. The needle came out, but the barbell was only in half-way.
Me being dumb and not wanting to lose this piercing started swimming around, looking for the exit hole. In the process I think I hit my Vas Deferense, which hurt like mad. I was on the floor crying. Eventually I mustered up the energy to try and feel my way, using my finger, to the exit hole, and with a great struggle, got it through (ouch!).
It was red as hell when I was done with it, but I expected that, since it was so fresh and I struggled with it so much. Unfortunately, it didn't heal up, and with a great deal of neglect, and the occasional getting stuck in the zipper trick, it eventually rejected and hurt a great deal in the process. Especially when it was barely in there, with a hairline piece of skin stretched over it. i was in mad pain, and just couldn't wait for it to come out all the way. I didn't want to remove it by hand, I tried, but it hurt so much that I couldn't continue. I didn't get a chance to show it to anybody or use it for any sexual purpose... mostly because it was so red and ugly looking that I was embarrassed. Go me, I'm a big dumb ass.
So anyway, now I can't do any of my piercings myself. I'm so afraid of screwing it up, like I did to this one. I'm not saying that it's a bad idea to do stuff like that on your own, I just don't trust myself. I didn't do enough research, and I can't shove a needle into myself without shaking a bit and getting scared. Kudos to anyone who can, but I can't.
ESPECIALLY in the genital area. It's hard as hell to get psyched to do something like that, and not be afraid you're going to accidentally castrate yourself. Some people like castration, I'm definately not intent on being a eunich.
But anyway, I'd consider this expirience important, so that I now know my limitations and abilities. I can't even explain to you how much I learned about myself by doing this.
