First Scrotal Piercing

After I got up the nerve to get my first piercing, (my left nipple), I decided that I wanted another piercing. I was so amazed that it was not painful and it was quite an endorphin rush. I had to experience it all again.

At 47 years of age, I never jump into anything blindly so, I got online and did some research to decide what my next piercing should be. I still could not decide so I made an appointment at Body Work Productions for an assessment to get some ideas of genital piercings. I made an appointment with Jesika; she had performed my nipple piercing 2 months before and I was very comfortable with her ability and professionalism. Jesika showed me some photos and then it was time to remove my pants to see what would work on my genitals. She left the room and provided me with a paper sheet to cover up with. When she returned she took the time necessary to mark lines and dots on my privates to show the different piercings that could be done on my anatomy. After some further discussion, I got dressed and went home to check the markings and decide what piercing I wanted to have done. After considering all the options I decided on a scrotal piercing.

I waited a week to see if I might change my mind about wanting to get a hole pierced in my scrotum, but I actually started to like the idea more and more. So, I made my appointment with Body Work Productions for Jesika to perform my scrotal piercing on the following Friday. I had a week to be nervous and worry about the pain. I told myself, no matter what I would go ahead with it. Friday flew by and I ended up working a little late, and I was afraid I would not be on time for my 7:30PM appointment. I rushed home, took a shower, changed clothes, and ate dinner with my wife. She was going to come along and had decided to get another ear piercing also. We drove to the shop, my stomach was beginning to get upset from nerves. As we pulled into the parking lot I felt sick and almost chickened out. But, then I calmed myself down and felt pretty good. There weren't many people in the waiting room-I checked in and got my paperwork to fill out. I didn't see Jesika, so of course I thought, "she's not here, I'm going to get someone else and I don't feel good about that". But, just before 7:30PM she appeared and went to work getting her piercing room prepped. I was thinking she would do my wife's cartledge ear piercing first, and that would give me more time to prepare mentally. But, Jesika decided to do my piercing first. She called us into her piercing room and we talked about the jewelry. I decided to get an 8 gauge curved barbell. I looked at the size and thought to myself "you must be crazy, that means a 6 gauge hole in your scrotum". But, I reasoned that any size hole would hurt and size did not make that much difference.

Now it was time to get out of my pants. Jesika left the room, offering the paper coverup, and in a few minutes she returned. She went to work marking the spot for the piercing, consulting with my wife and handing me a mirror to check out the exact location. We all concurred that we wanted it to be located lower on the scrotum, so she remarked everything and we checked it again. This time we were all happy and it was time for me to lay back onto the piercing table.

Jesika left the room to change the music to something else she liked better. This really gave me time to think about what I was about to do. It actually helpd me to calm down and relax. I focused on how it would soon be over and how I really wanted to do this. She returned and I don't know what the music was, but it was good and very soothing. She started to clean and prep the area, and place the forceps in the exact location. I could feel the clamp of the forceps, it did not hurt, just kind of a pinch. Then she used a flashlight to check for blood vessels, everything was lined up perfectly. I know it will soon be over with. Jesika tells me to relax and to start the breathing, deep slow breaths. She has an almost magical way of speaking that enabled me to relax and go into a trance-like state. Time seemed to slow down, as I take a few deep breaths, in and out slowly, and on the exhale I feel the needle enter and exit my scrotum in a milli-second. It did not hurt at all, only a minor sting; far less than a bee sting. I feel the jewelry go in and I'm done.

It felt so good, this rush of feelings, and I now know why you cannot have just one piercing. I stood up and was able to see my new 8 gauge jewelry, perfectly placed in the center of my scrotum. It looked great, and I wanted to give Jesika a big hug, but I didn't know if it was proper to hug your piercer, so I didn't.

I got dressed and watched my wife get her ear pierced, then we left. It has been a few days now and outside of a small spot of blood the first night, there has been no bleeding and there was never any pain. If you are considering a scrotal piercing go for it - you won't regret it!
