My first piercing - a hafada

At first let me introduce myself. My name is Alex, I am a twentynine years old software consultant and live in a small town in the southwestern part of Germany, next to the French border. My English is not very good so I beg your pardon for the mistakes I will make while writing this statement. The company I work for is specialized in software and consulting for the financial business, especially for banks. Doing consulting jobs for banks means that I have to wear very conservative clothes, black or dark blue suits, ties and things like that. It would be impossible for me to get a visible piercing.

I like bodyart very much. I have one big tribal on my lower back and I am acutally planning to get another piercing on my breast. I am interested in piercings, too, and was thinking about getting a piercing for several years. But where should I get it? As I have told you already a visible piercing in the facial area would be impossible because of my job. Getting my nipples pierced is impossible, too, because I have invertes nipples. The navel? Well, I do not like pierced male navels. So the only area to get pierced was my genital area. But living without sex during the first time of the healing period sounded very hard. Then, two weeks ago, me and my girlfriend got separated. "That's the chance to get a genital piercing", I thought. I looked for some more information about the different kinds of male genital piercings at the web and decided to get a hafada. It seemed to me that this would be a good idea to start with.

Looking for a good piercing studio became difficult. There are some in the area where I live, but I visited them and they did not look very clean. But then I had to travel to Hamburg for some days because of my job. The "Freie Manufaktur" at Hamburg is a well known piercing and tattoo studio with a very good reputation so I decidet to get it done there. I went there to get some more information about healing and aftercare and then I said to the girl behind the counter that I would come back in two hours to get it done. During that time I went back to my hotel for having a shower and for shaving my scrotal area.

Two hours later I went back to "Freie Manufaktur". I was very nervous and my heart was going boom-boom--boom. The oppurtunity to get a needle through my scrotum sounded very strange and crazy in that moment. Arriving at the studio I had to wait because the piercer hat to do some other piercings before. There were four young girls waiting to get their navels pierced. They were very nervous, too. We started talking about our nervousness. Then they asked me which part of my body I wanted to get pierced. I told them my story and they were really shocked about it.

Then the guy who was doing the piercing called me in and told me to get off my trousers and my slip. I did it and then he examined my scrotum to check if a hafada piercing would be possible. That was a really strange feeling - usually only women can touch my genital area g. After I had decided about the place for the piercing (the right part of my scrotum) he told me to lay down. Then he cleaned the hole area with "Octenisept" and clamped my scotum. He told me to breath normally and so I did. And then he put the needle through - it hurt a little bit, but not very much. I am a blood donor and it really did not hurt much more than getting the needle into my arm when donating blood. Then he put the titanium ring in and showed it to me in a mirror. Whow, it looked great. There was a little bit of blood, but not very much.

Some minutes later he told me to get up and so I did. The piercer then gave me some informations about aftercare: cleaning the wound with "Octenisept", no sauna and no sex for the next four weeks. I then put on my clothes again and payed for the piercing at the counter. The fours girls waiting for their navel piercings asked my how it was. I said "No problem!" and asked if they would like to see my new toy. Three of them said "No, thanks!", but one of them was very interested and so I did a little strip. ;-)

Now one day has gone by. Today in the morning I cleaned the piercing the first time. Untill this time the wound seemed not to be infected or something like this. I really hope that this will continue.

The piercing looks really great! I like it! And I am already planning to get some more: the next one I want to get is another hafada, on the left side of my scrotum. And then? I still do not know - perhapy a Prince Albert or perhaps an Ampallang. We will see!
