Well Ive been sticking needles in myself for quite a few years now but have only now had a permanent piercing.A weekend alone at home presented the perfect opportunity to pierce myself. Ive thinking about having my pubic area pierced for a couple of years, ever since getting some slip on cock rings made me think how such a piercing could be used. A couple of half attempts have been made in the past but since having seen some similar photos and experiences posted in BME I thought I was ready to do one permanently.
Friday night after having thought about it for the hours at work I was relieved to get home have a beer and plan how I was going to do this. I wanted a vertical pubic pierce with a curved bar through it and a ring through the right side of my scrotum. Being new to this I took the old punk way and used safety pins, I guess its not the best way to do this but I thought it would work. After washing up and cleaning the needles with some antiseptic disinfectant stuff I started. Ive always grabbed a piece of scrotum and thought that's where it should have something through it. So I grabbed it and pushed the pin through, Ive done it before and I move the pin around finding the spots that seem to have less nerve endings. It went through quite easily and painlessly except for the last part of the exit hole. I gave it a few tugs and moved it about a bit, then closed the pin.
Time to do the pubic pierce. After a couple more drinks I was ready. I pinched the area I wanted to pierce and started pushing the pin, it took quite a bit of force to get it started but once through it was easy enough to work it through to where I wanted it to exit. Getting it to come out was a bit harder, it's difficult to hold the skin while pushing the pin and I thought it would never go through but then it popped out.
Well I now had two safety pins through me I had no jewelry to put in the holes so planed to go to my local piercing studio and pick some up after work on Saturday.
It was a very interesting morning knowing what I had been doing and being able to feel the pins, after work I rode down to pick up the pieces I wanted. I picked out a curved bar with uneven balls for the pubic and a ring for the scrotal, at home I stripped down and cleaned myself up.
I decided to start with the pubic curved bar and after only just managing to get it into the entry hole realised I probably would not be able to get it through gave up and decided to work on the scrotal. I worked the needle for the stretch and then removed it. Easing the end of the bar into the hole was relatively easy but then things went wrong. I couldn't get it to follow the track of the pin to the exit hole; I took it out and tried working from the other way. Getting into the hole I still couldn't get through to the exit. I then worked the hole with the pin, which now seemed very easy to get through so in with the curved bar again, it was going through well when suddenly a large amount of blood came pouring out. Well seeing this wasn't exactly what I wanted, I had visions of driving myself to the hospital, but after swabbing for a short while the bleeding stopped and there was just that thin layer of skin to give way and there it was in.
I then pulled it back through and slotted the ring over it and then pushed it back through so I now have a ring captured against the skin by a curved bar.
I love it. I keep looking at it and thinking about it. It's a little sore but the failed pubic pierce holes are actually hurting more. I looked at other images and read some other experiences and I think I'm doing all right.
Sunday _ Well it seems to be healing well there have been no crusties yet and the pain is easing, I sometimes catch it and get a sharp reminder. Haven't managed to get much done today as I keep having to drop my pants and look at it again, I really dig it and am very happy with the way it looks. The swelling has eased and there is a little bruising the failed pubic one is still stinging but looks fine
I'm already thinking about getting more done, next time at a studio but for the first one I have really enjoyed this one.
