Useless piercing?

When A month ago
About a month ago I was looking through BME pictures, when I got to the male genital section. When I first saw a guiche piercing, my first thought was "What a useless piercing!" There was no contact to be done with it while having an intercourse, it's basically invisible, and who would like to get a piece of metal down there?

Slowly it started to grow on me, though. One night, when I was wondering who would like to get something there, I started to massage my guiche. It felt quite good. After a few nights of playing both with my body and with the thought, the idea of a guiche piercing looked much better than I first thought.

A few nights ago I pierced my lobes; while pushing slowly the needle I was roaming trough BME galleries. I knew I wanted some genital piercing soon but wasn't sure what it could be. My thoughts were focused more on building a ladder from my current lorum. When I saw the guiche piercing, it was an illumination, I HAD to get it. The pain from my ears, however, was telling me that it wouldn't happen that night.

Next day the itching was there again. I must have spent about 3 hours in the guiche piercing section (there is only 70 pages, but I have dial up!). It was what I wanted, and I wanted it now. I gathered my working tools together. When I got my headphones on, I knew I wasn't ready! The pain in my throbbing ears was already warning me that it was too fast. I put my things aside, but together since I knew it would happen quite soon.

The next day I woke up and I knew it was the day. I ate breakfast and checked pictures on BME about the piercing. It seemed obvious to me that I needed that piercing. I picked up the box I had made the day before and headed to the bathroom. After cleaning the room, I started to lay my tools out. My first problem was to mark the placement. Sure, the skin is thin, but how can I pierce if I can't mark? I had my penis in the way. I got a mirror out, holding the mirror in one hand, the marker in the other, and my penis in the ... well, it was still in the way! I put the mirror on a chair, and stood over it. I marked it as well as I could but there was always something in the way, either my hand or my penis or the mirror or the marker. Finally, however, I managed to do a line in the middle of my crotch.

Now I had to clamp it and the task wasn't easy. I couldn't get the clamps to hold on enough skin. I finally succeed by standing up and pulling a bit from the back. The line was exactly on the fold and I knew I'd get the piercing centered. I put the needle and started to push. It might have gotten like half way trough when I got really dizzy and started to feel sick. I took the needle out and lay on the floor. Slowly starting to feel better, I got the needle and tried again, but my sugar level was too low. I couldn't push with enough conviction to get the needle trough. I decided to call it a day, disposed the needle and packed my stuff.

A few hours later I realized that I couldn't get the idea out of my mind. I decided to give it another try. I cleaned the room again and got my claps. This time I knelt down - I could lie on my back faster and with less stress than if I'd be sitting on a chair. I lined the needle and lay right away on my back. I pushed slowly; the entry hole did not hurt that bad. I had to stay focused on holding the clamps and the needle at a 90 degree angle. Then I took a peek and I could see that the bevel was completely in but only the tip of the needle was out on the other side. I pushed more and more but I couldn't get the needle trough. The skin on that part of my body is so thin that I was pushing it trough the opening of the clamps. I had to find a way to keep it from getting trough. Thinking of a solution, an article about Jim Wards' PA technique reminded me of how Doug Malloy was using a cotton swab to catch the needle. So I took a cotton swab and stab the tip of the needle in it. I tilted my head back and pushed the needle in the cotton swab. The pain was sharp and raw. The cotton swab took the cutting part of the needle, leaving the bevel which would stretch the cut. I had to hold it with my fingers and then I ran my finger around to see where the needle was.

The more I was pushing the needle, the more the skin was getting trough the clamps. I really should have used a cork. I finally managed to hold the skin from getting through when I pushed the last part of the bevel. I got the jewelry in quite easily. But I was scared to poke myself in the leg or to loose the connection between the needle and jewelry.

Later that day I noticed that some sitting positions were a bit uncomfortable but I just needed to move a little and the pinch disappeared. I initially used a CBB, but when it started to move around with the crusties, it would give me extreme bolts of pain. I had to walk like a cowboy to the bathroom to clean it. I finally got to put a band aid onto it to stop it from moving around. It did help but there would be some white secretion that looked like Teflon, probably sebum that was created by the oil which was caused by the heat trapped by the band aid.

I had to switch jewelry to a straight barbell and I used this opportunity to stretch further (obviously I can't resist). I took the jewelry out but, when I tried to insert the taper, I couldn't find the exit hole and felt some crisp pain every time I tried to get it out. I was about to give up when I laid back and felt it with my fingers. Being spread eagle gave me a better chance to get the taper straight in. I finally got it in and it practically went through by itself. The 8ga barbell never gave me any problem, even though it's a little harder to clean. And I haven't seen any more sebum since.

Now this was a purely selfish and sexual piercing. Even if it's at an awkward place, it really gives nice feelings. The CBB knocks on my guiche when I masturbate and it's an awesome feeling. I'm thinking about getting a circular barbell or a CBR to get that feeling again. Yet I'm still waiting for a full healing. The thought of the pain makes me think twice before changing the jewelry.

I'm happy with my guiche but, please, don't do what I did. DIY piercing can go wrong, and lead to serious problems, so keep that in mind and go to a professional if you want to get pierced. I'm just a plain idiot doing my own genital modifications!
