I have been getting tattooed since the age of 18 (I'm now 28). I have just recently become a fan of body piercing in the last few years. I have been thinking about getting a guiche for about a year now. I found this piercing while browsing BME one day. I like the fact that it was somewhat unusual and not everyone has it.

I asked if he had done one and he replied, " No, thank gawd". I really liked the idea of getting this piercing, but did not want to deal with having my ass up in the air while the piercing guy stabbed my taint. I also did not want to put the piercer through this. I'm sure they see all sorts of things while on the job, but I wanted to spare him from having to stare at my brown eye. I already had both of my nipples and my naval pierced, but I thought this one was a little bit more personal.
About two months prior I had ordered a piercing kit from ebay. The kit contained a needle, a clamp, and 14 gauge cbr that I was planning on using to pierce my own naval. After talking to my wife, I agreed to just get it done instead of doing it myself and having it not turn out right. I ended up having my naval professionally done (and its perfect), so I still had these supplies. After a very hectic week, I got home and had a little spare time, so I decided that I could pierce my own gooch.
I realize that its best to have all of your piercings professionally done, but after seeing several piercings done on others, as well as on myself, I felt confident that I could do a good job.
I took a shower and got the area nice and clean. Then I laid out my tools on a paper towel on the bathroom counter. I marked the approximate location of where I wanted the piercing, then placed a mark where the needle would enter and another where it would exit. I then squatted down on the bathroom floor and positioned myself so that my back was up against the wall. I felt around for a couple of minutes to make sure there wasn't anything vital where I was going to spear myself, then I placed the clamp, making sure the marks were centered in the openings. I then dipped the needle in some surgical lube that came with the kit and pressed it against the first mark. It stung slightly, but went in instantly. I took my time and in about 30 seconds it was coming out the other side. There was really no pain, but decided it would be best to remove the clamp and took a break. At this point I was completely high on adrenaline. I sat there on the floor for a couple of minutes, then put a little lube on the cbr and while pinching the skin, pushed the needle out with the cbr. I centered it up and placed the ball on the cbr. I used a pair of snap ring pliers from Autozone to open the cbr enough to insert the ball. There was hardly any blood. Just a little red smear. I cleaned myself up and got dressed. I then headed down stairs to relax on the couch. It was a little uncomfortable any way I sat, so I just laid down on my back. I let it sit for a few hours while I watched some TV, ate dinner, and then took a shower. It stung a little when the water first touched it, but nothing serious. It was a little sore the next few days when I walked around or had to sit down, but not really a big deal.
My guiche was fully healed in about a week, and hasn't given me any problems.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say the pain of piercing my own taint was about a 3. Far less than any of my other piercings. It's been about four months now and I am completely happy with my new piercing. I have found it very pleasurable to be lightly tugged or flicked during sex. I am also seriously considering stretching it up to a larger gauge. I don't want anything that's going to set off the metal detector in the airport, but a little weight would be nice.
People still don't believe me when we are talking about piercings and I tell them that I have a guiche. I still like to see the shock on their faces when I drop- trou, pull up my nuts, and show them.
