I had been thinking about getting it done for about 4 months now. I asked some questions about it and soon decided that I was going to go for it. I walked into NEXT piercing and talked to Jacob about the Guiche. He was very excited that I was thinking about it and convinced me that it was worth doing it. I asked him what it does and he replied, "You don't know until you have a guiche piercing. It's all about the Guiche!" I went home and thought about it and read articles on the piercing to see what I would have to do. I shaved my nuts and crease and I was set.
At A Glance Author anonymous When It just happened Artist Jacob Studio NEXT Location Vancouver I arrived today and told Jacob I was going to go through with it. We decided on a 10 Gage and that made me nervous. He suggested a curved barbell for cleaning purposes so I agreed. I was sweating and very clammy. I even felt a bit sick. I only have one other piercing (the pubic piercing) and so for my second piercing I was going a little bit more extreme. I was more nervous about dropping my drawers for a guy than anything but there was no turning back.
When I was asked to come into the room, I looked at my friends and said "Here I go!" At this point i was really nervous. I was getting my pubic piercing re pierced and the Guiche at the same time. They came in with me and watched me get my pubic piercing re pierced. That was a longer procedure because it is a surface piercing but it looks great and didn't hurt at all. After that I sent my friends out with a little bit of force, because it would be a little weird spreading my legs and them watching the procedure.
When they left the room, I was asked to take my pants and boxers off. It was a little uncomfortable, but I did it anyways. I sat down on the table and Jacob asked me to hold back my package. He cleaned the area first. He marked the area and then told me to stand up with my back to him, my legs spread and to "hang loose." It was a little odd having a guy marking me from behind but I was too concentrated on what the pain may be like. I then sat back down on the table and held my nuts out of the way. He asked me to feel around for a nice spot to pierce (where it feels the best). He gave me some lavender (which I stuffed up my nose). He then clamped the area which was nothing. It was like a firm pinch. He then lined up the needle and we started the breathing pattern. In and out on one, in and out on two, in and out on three, in (and i was ready for it) and out on four and the fourth out the 10 gage needle went through. Honestly, it was a split second of sharpness, like when you f irst get a paper cut. Then he followed with the curved barbell and screwed the bead on and we were done. I was like "that was it?" It was painless and I am very happy I went through with it. I kind of laughed at myself for being scared, but hey, having a thick needle going through your nuts, it's not what most guys normally do for fun. Maybe I have a good pain tolerance but it only lasted for a split second. It was a very quick procedure. It was not as long as the surface piercing I got and felt roughly the same pain. On a scale of 1-10, ten being your arm cut off, 1 being a mosquito bite, it was about a 2 or 3. A bee sting hurts way more and so does a paper cut. Do not be afraid of the pain unless you do not have a good pain tolerance.
It feels a little weird walking (because it is horizontally between my legs) but I am sure I will get used to it very soon. Once healed, it should be more noticeable and feel really good. The piercing puts pressure on the prostrate which is very pleasurable and I cannot wait to have fun with my piercing. It has not caused me any pain and I am thinking about starting a ladder with three.
I suggest getting the guiche for anyone who wants something different. It looks great and it is like a little secret. Sitting can be a little tricky at first but it is really fine. I was told not to ride a bike for a while but whatever. I can't wait until it heals so I can play with it and have a lot of fun.
