I had wanted a piercing for a long time, but never thought I could withstand the pain. Also given the fact that I pass out when I give blood, I thought I'd make a poor piercee. But, my experience of getting a guiche was exhilarating, in fact, and was not nearly as painful as I might have expected.

I never figured he'd be the type as he's quite mild-mannered. I was quite intrigued and fascinated by it and since he'd had his a full year with no complications and a very rapid healing period (6 weeks), I'm hoping for good results, too. It was his reassurance and confidence in his piercer that finally convinced me to go through with it. He recommended I see the same guy who did his, Johnathan at Body Modifications of Tulsa; mentioned he was very professional and that it was an immaculately clean place. He was right on both counts.
Johnathan had a very professional manner and a calming voice that made me feel relaxed and at ease. When I first went in, I was most noticeably nervous and hoped nobody else would be present, but I went during my lunch hour and a woman was getting her navel pierced. Johnathan took time out to answer my questions about how much a guiche would cost, whether or not it was OK if I passed out, and when the slowest time of the day was. He suggested I come by around 3-3:30, so I took off at 2:30 and made my way there. The traffic was so bad, I didn't really even have time to get nervous, but did get antsy when I drove up and saw him there with no other customers. He was outside and went in when I drove up. I sat there for about 30 seconds and contemplated driving off. But, I told myself that if my lover could do it, so could I, and I liked the idea that the same guy will have done both of ours. I pushed really hard to overcome the feeling of my feet permanently implanted on the car floor.
I quickly popped in the door in hopes of doing it and getting it over with fast before I got queasy. "You decide to go through with it?" "Yep." I signed my documents, paid, we discussed aftercare, he gave me my sea salt and provon soap. I then chose a 10ga. curved barbell, he sterilized the room and called me back. Gulp! I dropped my pants and undies and proceeded to the stirrups. I worried about being too hairy (should I have trimmed?), but he said nothing about it. We decided on a good spot, marked it and I felt unusually calm. He then told me to take a deep breath. Upon my exhale, I felt a slight stinging sensation, but just as quickly, the pain subsided with, "...and now the jewelry." And, it was over and I was fine. I did feel slightly queasy when I sat up, but didn't pass out. Johnathan asked if I needed anything. I said, "some ice-cold water would be great.", and I was handed just that! Everything I needed and wanted was attended to professionally. I l ooked at my new toy and flashed an evil grin. He asked me if I'd looked at it yet and I grinned and said yes. I then tipped him (was it enough?), and carefully got dressed. A feeling of euphoria overcame me as I was leaving the back room.
Upon entering the storefront, there were two women (apparently a mother and a daughter) looking at jewelry. I then checked my fly and to my horror, discovered it was unzipped! I tried discreetly to zip but even though I turned around, they heard it and then all eyes were upon me as I exited the studio. I just grinned thinking to myself, "Yeah, I got a genital piercing..." I figured my car ride home would be excruciating, but it really wasn't painful at all. I did find a little blood in my underwear, but just a tiny bit.
Two days later, I'm a little sore, but nothing serious and healing has already begun. I don't touch it and I soak and wash it only 1x day. I am immaculately clean and have also been wearing very loose clothing to facilitate air circulation. I also go without underwear after soaking and cleaning for the same reason.
I think it looks grand and I can't wait for it to heal. If you're thinking of getting a male genital piercing, I highly recommend the guiche. It looks great when viewed from either behind or in front and I'm told it's a lot of fun, too. I love the way mine feels hanging there, and I figure my companion will too. I'm already contemplating another piercing...
