Guiche X2

I had decided early on that if I could make it through the first Guiche piercing and healing, then I would consider a second one. Well - I decided that I wanted two more, not one more. After thinking about it awhile, I decided I would get one in the front of the existing one, and one in the back. I don't know why a total of three Guiche piercings, it just seemed like it would be cool to have three CBRs hangin and bangin. If that went well, then a PA was next on my list to dream about.
As the day approached, I started getting pumped about this latest quest for metal. I began to find it extremely difficult waiting until the scheduled time and day, and had to visit the shop periodically. I even tried to get the piercings done early at one point, but the friendly and professional staff shut me down not wanting to do it for at least a full month after the last piercing.
A month finally passed and FINIALLY, after a long wait for what seemed like a lifetime- it was the time to meet the metal again. On the 18th of July, I again skipped out of work a little early and proceeded to the local piercing/tattoo shop. This trip was going to be an adventure as I was going to get the two new Guiche piercings by the young lady that worked at the shop. She was not present at the first piercing as she was on a day off, but she was determined to be there to do the new ones for me. Out of all of the piercings that she had evidently done, she still needed to do a few Guiche piercings. Being somewhat adventurous, I had agreed to let her do the new ones. Watching over the process was the owner/piercer who would supervise and assist as needed. My thought was... so what could go wrong?
The process went much the same way that the first Guiche did. The door closed, this time I refused the hospital gown as it was a pain to deal with, I dropped trouwsers and hopped up on the table. I must admit, I did feel a little better with a girl doing the job for some reason. After a look-see, they both determined that I was not going to be able to get the new Guiche behind the original one as there was just not enough skin to get a grip on. Boy was I bummed! I had spent a lot of time planning this whole thing out, and now it was not going to happen. I did decide to get the other in front of the original Guiche as planned, so it wasn't a total crash and burn.
The whole process went very well, perhaps better than the first. The area was cleaned well, marked, and the clamp put on. I noticed that I was a little more relaxed this time, probably because I new what in store. I had wanted the CBR taken out of the first hole and curved barbells put in both, but the owner discovered that he didn't have the right size barbells. He was able to improvise and bent a circular barbell to the desired angle. I was actually impressed with the results as the barbell didn't look cheesy at all. You couldn't even tell that it had been hand bent. Yahoo! We were still in business - so we pressed on. To my surprise, the needle penetration didn't sting half as much as the first with the needle. I remember thinking at the time... was that it? Is it over? She then pronounced the job done, and I was handed a mirror to see the results. WOW! I have to admit that I was impressed! Looks good I proclaimed, and I hopped down and headed for my pants to get dressed. I headed home that evening, and almost immediately started planning the next piercing (a PA) even before I really started healing from the current one.
It didn't take long for me to realize that the healing was going to be more difficult than the first. Contrary to what I thought would happen, the barbell seemed to get caught more on the seam of my pants, getting irritated more so than the CBR ever did. In hindsight, I really should have gone with another CBR. All in all, I am very pleased with the results, and the pain seems like a distant memory now. Maybe I'll just go ahead and do a Guiche ladder?!
Next story... my new PA!! I'm having second thoughts about it, but maybe in time it will feel better.
