I'm sitting here in front of the computer this evening, writing and wondering why more people don't have this piercing. It honestly doesn't hurt one bit. If I didn't know better (by looking every few seconds) I would not know that I have it pierced. The only time when it has been one bit discomforting this evening has been when I move a little too fast, jump, or punch myself in the perineum. I suppose I should start at the beginning though...

Since I got sick a few weeks ago I've been putting off getting my Guiche pierced until my immune system is back up and ready to do battle. I have wanted this piercing for a long time, and finally, last week, we set the date to finally do it. Today my friends, was Guiche Day. So anyway, I came into work and helped a few clients. It was fun stuff, just the usual, and then we went to dinner. We sat around talking and getting really crappy service (and in my opinion, even worse food) at a diner down the street.
Finally we went back, I helped a couple with some language barrier problems they were having, and then it was time. Lisa was running around all over the place but finally caught her breath enough to realize that I was going to get my Guiche done. Everyone settled in, Butters taking notes and observing, and Lisa observing.
First Scott had me remove my pants, shoes, and boxers. Then he had me kneel on all fours on the piercing table while he marked my Guiche. The marking procedure was completely fine, no problems at all. Scott had me on all fours while he went about marked the piercing with a ruler vertically and horizontally to make sure the planes fit correctly with my anatomy. After erasing the horizontal line once and making a few adjustments to marking (I wish I could explain more but, well I was on all fours and it's hard to see your perineum from that position) it was time to apply the forceps.
Scott gently put the forceps in place, and asked me how I was feeling. I had to be honest and said "well, I've really got to fart, so could we wait a second?" Scott said "of course" and I removed myself from the piercing table where I was on all fours (still). I guess a few of you will consider this "gross" or "too much information" but I think it's important to realize that you, as a client and as a person, should always feel completely comfortable with the person who is working with you, and that they will have the utmost respect for you, your comfort, and your feelings. If they don't have this level of professionalism, well, I would suggest going somewhere they do. I feel it is one of the most important aspects of a good piercer. Anyway, I'm rambling so back on track.
I released my "tension" and the procedure continued. Scott reapplied the forceps to my perineum and asked me how I was feeling. I was feeling fine albeit a bit nervous, but I was ready to go. I told Scott and he lined up the needle, had me take a nice deep breath, and on my exhale the piercing was done. There was a little bit of discomfort but nothing like I was expecting. My perineum is a pretty sensitive spot on me, so I was a bit apprehensive about this procedure, but to be quite honest, only my Frenum was easier to sit for, and that was the easiest piercing I have ever had. The main portion of the discomfort was actually caused by my muscle reaction, which was to instinctively tighten. This muscle reaction pulled the forceps and piercing close to my buttock, where the needle had the potential to scratch me. Scott applied enough resistance with the forceps to keep this from happening and quickly corked the needle.
The next part, the stretch, was easy. I took a nice deep breath and let it out. There was a tiny bit of pressure but nothing to think twice about. For the next few moments Scott tried to navigate the forest of hair I have below my waist so that he could screw the bead on my piece of jewelry. Next time I will shave a lot better, so there will be much less hair to interfere with his work. After a few moments the bead was in place, and everything was settled. Scott took a quick picture and handed me the mirror so I could take a look at it. I love it. I'm so excited to see my Guiche and I can't wait to stretch it to two gauge and put a ring in it. The first few moments after the initial procedure were a tiny bit tender, however, after about four or five minutes, I was completely fine. If I move quickly or jostle my piercing, there is obviously some mild discomfort, but nothing bad at all.
In conclusion I would like to say that this is one of the coolest, and easiest piercings I have ever received. I completely recommend it for anyone who would like to get into genital modification without a great deal of pain. I have not experienced any bleeding yet (though I am expecting some due to the vascular nature of the area and the fact that I am Vegan, which means I bleed like.... Well, like a Vegan I guess (a lot). Anyhow, I love my piercing and I totally recommend it.
